Our stay felt like a home amidst the mighty hills of Munnar. The drive to the property was an adventure, going up & down the hilly terrain. However, it might be a bit challenging for some. That said, there are people around to guide and help you navigate your way to this serene retreat. We stayed in a pleasant 2BHK home surrounded by a spacious open area with rubber trees all around. A small cowshed and a few hens nestled on the property. The ambience made us feel connected to nature & the warmth of a home. The owners were incredibly hospitable & cooked some homely food for us. The stay has both an internal & an external staircase leading to our floor, with the owners residing on the ground floor. While the internal staircase offers convenience, we felt it slightly blurred the privacy for both guests and hosts, though the owners were respectful & never imposed any restrictions. The main town is about 6 km away, so some travel for shops is required. A pleasant & lovely stay, overall!

This is a fabulous property easy to reach from town area. Roads are alright leading to the property. The expansive area allows you to walk around, check-out a tiny waterfall, gaze at the hills or sky uninterrupted. The food is simple and homely which makes you eat more and feel less heavy. The cats and dogs are a theatre in themselves. Definitely book.

Ideal place for families and friends. Very fine ambience and every facility was given on just a telephone call. Caretaker has an appreciable character and the food served was very tasty and worth to money

it was an incredible experience. The home was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, making it a perfect getaway spot. The well-maintained lawn was a delightful place to relax. What truly stood out was the delicious food prepared there. Every meal was flavorful and satisfying, and the barbecue was a real highlight of the stay. The evenings around the bonfire, enjoying good food and great company, created unforgettable memories. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Kodaikanal.

Eldhose place was quite a fantastic one to stay near the airport. The place was amazing with all the clear instructions provided. I would highly recommend one staying here. For me, I will return back to his place for sure. A great host!

I stayed here with my family and we had an absolutely peaceful, private, and relaxing getaway. The home is perfectly nestled in a scenic spot with a breathtaking viewpoint right in front of the house — waking up to that view every morning was such a treat. The cooler temperature due to the location was something we genuinely enjoyed — it added to the cozy and refreshing vibe of the place. The house itself had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, and we felt right at home. A special shoutout to the caretaker, who was incredibly kind and cooked the most delicious meals during our stay. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a serene escape surrounded by nature!

superhost for a reason. Gautham always had us communicated and asked promptly about any thing that we need. the caretaker in the property was also very prompt and we got bonfire and BBQ on time. the only thing that is a little bit tricky is reaching the parking of thumpayil hills, because Google maps shows shortcuts and that landed us in trouble. i would recommend taking to Gautham on how to reach and follow the same. food was good and Gautham also booked jeep ride for us for local attractions. the view from top of chakkipara hill above the property is breathtaking. We will definitely recommend this property for visitors if they want some adventure and are fine with secluded properties away from hustle and bustle of City. Here only sunlight and chirping of birds will be there.

The property had an amazing experience! The property was nestled amidst lush greenery and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were cozy and clean, with all the necessary amenities. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the proximity to the Marayoor Sandalwood Tree plantations. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

What a lovely stay in the tranquil canals of the backwaters. While different from many other air bnb's we've stayed in (there is no private kitchen, for example), Praveen and his family's upstairs space is a nest of comfort! With two large rooms, each with separate bathroom, and a large common area, it is a half in and half out living space with a beautiful vista over the canal. Papa is an unbelievably generous and skilled cook, who delighted our tastebuds with "Kerela specials" and made our kids favorite requests (coconut pancakes!). He even made us some lemon and mango pickle for the road! Praveen's mother is a sweet kind presence, too. And not enough good words can be said about Praveen as host. Willing and generous with time, his network of connections allowed us to experience and enjoy all that this region has to offer...from kayaking to sunrise boating to errands in Allapy city--Praveen helped with every one of these with grace and humor.
