it was a great stay. peaceful and beautiful place. Abi and mam were wonderful host and loved the food. overall great experience and would love to visit again.

It was one of the best home stay till now. People and staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped me in preparing food for my kid 3 times 2 times a day. it means a lot. The best part is their food. Delicious and quality breakfast, very nice tea. Dinner was mind blowing, it was yummy and quantity was very good. Anyone visiting Munnar can stay there for a week...!! it's worth...

Jerin was an excellent host and was helpful throughout our stay. We were provided with 2 bedrooms with attached bathooms. He provided good food and helped us with local transport to station and back. The rooms were basic but comfortable. There was no washing machine but a person was there to help hand wash the clothes. Bathrooms could have had better fittings but one cannot complain as the proximity to the beach meant any fitting would rust due to the salty sea air. The house is a 2 minute walk from the beach. The beach itself was spectacular, with hardly any debris. The waters were calm and clean. If you go in the early morning you can see the fishermen bring in their catch. We had a lovely trip and must once again thank Jerin for his hospitality.

Private peaceful and blissful stay.

We ended up staying at Basil’s place yet again! And we are not surprised at all! Because once you stay at this beautiful home, you will want to keep coming back! This place is everything that the listing describes it as and so much more! There’s serene beauty everywhere you look. There’s so much warmth in the home and in the presence of Basil, you can’t ever just stay here only once! Thank you once again for your hospitality! Until next time, take care !

Lovely place. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Well maintained and great ambience to go with a lovely breakfast. Peaceful and one can have your coffee by the river side. Very rarely would get an opportunity to stay in a 150 year old well maintained house. Strongly recommend.

We stayed at Winter Gardens Stay for 2 nights and had a lovely experience. The property is about 8 km from Munnar, located on a hilltop with breathtaking views—perfect for a peaceful escape. The room and bathroom were clean, and there’s a nice outdoor setup to enjoy the scenery. The road to the stay is a bit steep and narrow, so a short walk is required. Breakfast on both days was great, and dinner is available if ordered before 5 PM. Mr. Justin was very kind and checked in regularly, though we did feel a slightly unwarm vibe from the on-site hosts—perhaps due to a miscommunication. As it’s surrounded by nature, expect insects and natural sounds—just keep doors closed. Overall, a calm and refreshing stay. Ideal for couples looking to unwind in nature.

The host was really great and gave an experience every guest deserves. Told us upfront on all of the things (food, way to come, etc) and the property has an ample space to chill and have fun. Extra points: you can socialise with nearby property guests

Sebastian is one of the kindest person we met, a very talented chef! Do not miss his delicious and finest cuisine. The house is well located, with a beautiful garden , the beach is only 5 minutes walking and the room is very confortable with the AC. I highly recommend it , the best place. We were lucky to meet and exchange with Sebastian , great recommendations and always ready to help with the smile . We will be back for sure Thank you and to your family :)

Während unseres Aufenthaltes bei Swami und Amma haben wir uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Swami hat uns morgens durch aktive Meditation begleitet und Amma und ihre Helfer haben uns köstlich bekocht. Wir haben während des Aufenthaltes Behandlungen im örtlichen Ayurvedakrankenhaus wahrgenommen, dass war spannend und wohltuend, die Organisation lief sehr gut durch unsere Gastgeber.
