What's one thing you look for when you are searching for say a cottage or a cabin or a homestay? Quietness, serenity with a pinch of belonging. Property at birdwood cottages provide you just that, situated away from the hustle bustle of the city and also the crowded Mall road of Dalhousie, this place submits you to just relax. Great location, beautiful interiors, great caretakers who make great home made food of your choice. touristy spots are not too far away, ample car parking place, good wifi. The best part of the stay has to be the 2-3 km flat trail circuit in the woods to rejuvenate your mornings. i think late September to early December is the best time to enjoy the flora & fauna of this place before the snow engulfs the area.

Deepak’s place is situated in a very peaceful location in Delhi. His cottage is very clean and cozy. He was always available and helps with all our queries. Will definitely stay again if i am visiting Delhi next time. Thank you Deepakji 🙏

This airbnb feels more like a home to me , and the way Manju has kept the place makes it look and feel like one too. This is my 6th visit to the compound and honestly, I'd probably shift my travel dates to make sure I can stay here. Each time I also notice new additions, such as additional lighting in the house or cute trays in the bathroom that have essentials. Manju is such a warm host, and makes sure she checks in to see if you need anything. I'd highly recommend this place ( and their other listings) if you're visiting Bangalore or even if you wanted a quiet getaway as a local. Highly recommended!

Basil teacher, as she's known around, is one of the most meticulous hosts we've come across. The place is surrounded by lush sylvan and the Meenachil river. It's quiet and wonderful. The quarters we stayed in has such an amusing history to it. It's got beautiful furniture that are at least 70 years old. The home where Teacher resides is over 170 years old and is a stellar construction. Basil teacher is a generous and thoughtful host. We had informed her that one of us has an ankle injury, and coincidentally or not, we found an ice pack in the refrigerator. The kichenette has everything you need. Despite it, she'll happily offer coffee in the morning. The breakfast is heavenly. Special thanks to Shyamala chechi as well, who is the helper. Teacher will also tell you a bit of local history which is very interesting. In all, it was a wonderful and peaceful stay for us.

The stay was absolutely perfect! The property looked exactly like the photos on the app, with no surprises. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was easily accessible yet felt wonderfully private and peaceful. The beautiful garden and the dogs on the property who’d greet us whenever we went out and came back..added to the charm, creating a calm and homely atmosphere. It was the ideal place for a relaxing getaway, and we had a wonderful vacation. Highly recommend!

We had a 3 night stay at Sanjay's place and though it was pretty warm at Kalimpong, the house was cool, covered with greenery all around. If you like places which are away from the hustle and bustle, tucked within greenery, then this is the place to go. Food was homely and delicious. My 10 year old son was busy througout the stay playing in the adjoining areas in the property. We were travelling with old parents and my wife was recovering from a fractured foot so when we navigated through the flight of stairs to reach to our cottage, they did not seem happy. But all of that was gone the next days as they enjoyed all the walk they could get amidst the purity of nature. Sanjay and his staff are super responsive and always there with a smile. So in short, if you are looking at this property and reading my review, my suggestion would be to go ahead and book.

We had a great 1 week stay at Poonam and Srikant’s farm house. It’s hard to believe such a beautiful, green and isolated (once you are inside) place exists within the city. It was not just refreshing but a warm and comfortable stay as well. We had a great time during the stay and especially during the special northeast lunch hosted by them. The best part about our stay was playing with the two Beagles adopted by them, they are adorable and we are already missing them. We look forward to visiting the place again.

What a lovely stay in the tranquil canals of the backwaters. While different from many other air bnb's we've stayed in (there is no private kitchen, for example), Praveen and his family's upstairs space is a nest of comfort! With two large rooms, each with separate bathroom, and a large common area, it is a half in and half out living space with a beautiful vista over the canal. Papa is an unbelievably generous and skilled cook, who delighted our tastebuds with "Kerela specials" and made our kids favorite requests (coconut pancakes!). He even made us some lemon and mango pickle for the road! Praveen's mother is a sweet kind presence, too. And not enough good words can be said about Praveen as host. Willing and generous with time, his network of connections allowed us to experience and enjoy all that this region has to offer...from kayaking to sunrise boating to errands in Allapy city--Praveen helped with every one of these with grace and humor. Thank you all!!

The home was very well kept and right opposite the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Deena is a wonderful host. The airBnB itself however needs a lil work as it’s brand new like a good motor for upstairs rooms and perhaps a bug screen. Apart from that the property is absolutely beautiful! Deena and family took really good care of 12 of us. She offered jeep ride from her estate which was a 10/10 experience! Overall we had a really good time!

as listed, a perfect place for a quiet stay. welsao beach is close - 5mins drive (not walkable). beach is splendid - miles and miles of clean beach. decent eating options in a short drive radius. place itself was well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there - initially there was a wifi hiccup but got sorted in reasonable timeframe. thanks a ton to Lincoln. looking fwd to staying here again soon

This place is amazing. we had lots of fun over there. The host was very welcoming and always helped with our queries. This is the best place to stay in Talpona. It has riverfront just outside of the back gate. we played in the water, the locals are also very friendly. Also, you'll get to rent scooty nearby. Everything is very accessible there. Next time I'm in south Goa, I'll book this property again for sure.

The place was amazing it was quite and the dog below was adorable the host was very responsive it felt like being right at home

such a great place to plan your stay at ooty. yes, it's a bit away from ooty centre, but worthwhile. We had a great time there, the food was also spot on. we will definitely recommend the property to our friends and colleagues. If you are looking for a good, spacious stay for a large group (10-15) and a bit away from the traffic of ooty centre, go for it. Mini bar, wifi, Tv, bonfire, cool staffs NB: don't miss the sunrise from the balcony.

I needed a place close to the metro for commute , what better place than Dikshas place for the same. The place is clean & was cute ; looked like what it was in the photos. Flower & fruit markets extremely close by to the place. Comfortable , clean & cosy place. Thanks for hosting .

A really great stay, you get your own private balcony as can be seen in the pictures. It has all the required furniture and the interior is designed for a cozy set up.

Everything about our stay was fantastic and exceeded our expectations! The location is beautiful, serene and the surroundings are not crowded. The villas are very tastefully designed and the staff is very kind and helpful. We’d be back here for sure ourselves!

Wonderful stay. The host was super friendly and proactive. We went with our family of 5 persons and the accommodation was more than enough for us. The host assisted us with Pandit's reference for a seamless Pooja and Darshan. It was beyond our expectations and amazing. 😊 The premises consists of two beautifully decorated AC rooms, kitchen, washroom and a giant terrace. Babadham is just 2 kms away from the stay and fare will be around 10 p.p in rickshaw. Jasidih Junction is also less than 7 kms. and it will be around 150-200 depending on your bargaining skills 😉 Bonus Tips: Don't forget to taste and take home the infamous PEDA. (try out the Shivam Peda Bhandar near temple 🛕) For breakfast, try out for Chunnu Sweets and for lunch/dinner, go for Neelkamal Hotel/ Kamdhenu Hotel (near Chowk) 😋 And lastly, the hosts also owns a popular sweet shop. Do try some of the dishes from the factory hosted downstairs. Overall an amazing stay!

Wonderful place to stay in Majorda beautiful location peaceful and a perfect place to unwind. The accommodation was so comfortable and had every little thing you could think of. Would be happy to recommend this beautiful place to anyone. Please see review on TripAdvisor.

The property is exactly as shown in the photos. The rooms are nice and clean. The host is extremely friendly <3 The only gripe was the location. The property is adjacent to the railway track which can obviously get loud and noisy at night. It is in a residential colony where finding transport is not difficult but inconvenient.
