We had the most amazing time at Will’s home. It’s exactly as described. The home is so cozy and has everything you could ever need. We cooked in and went to a few of his recommended restaurants. Will was extremely responsive from booking to departure. We hope to stay again. Perfect location and the hot tub and deck are fabulous!

The cottage was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and going out on the lake with the paddle boards and kayaks. We would definitely rent here again.

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of incredible. The hosts went above and beyond to support our family during one of the most exciting and emotional times in our lives—the arrival of our child through adoption. With so many unknowns in our journey, they moved mountains to accommodate us, ensuring we had a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, even with our shifting timelines and unique requests. The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. I had a very relaxing time here. My inquiry was responded to very quickly. I booked roughly 2 hrs before check in. Same day booking. I had no problems at all. The home is set up for guests. From nightlights in the bathroom and hallway to their coffee stand with different coffees, syrups, tea,etc. They even noticed I had a hard time lifting the hot tub top and sent someone over to help. I didn’t even have to ask. I don’t always feel at home some place new but I felt so comfortable and at home there. The owners are very kind and hospitable. I plan on returning for sure

This place is a gem! It was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels, toilet paper and other essentials. The hot tub, kayaks/paddle boards, and fire pit were great amenities. The hosts were communicative and even let us check in early! We hope to come back soon!

I enjoyed everything about my stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and I sat on the porch to watch the lake and wildlife despite some very chilly temperatures. I loved the skylights! Bed was very comfortable and all that I needed was supplied. I would definitely stay here again.

We wanted a peaceful, relaxing and fun Fall getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The Cottage was everything we asked for- simple and cozy! The sunrise over the lake was gorgeous, coffee on deck started the days nicely and warm fires ended the nights!

Amazing place! Even better than expected! Although it says no AC, they have a little AC unit next to the couch and it makes the whole place so cool! We brought fans and didn't even need to use them. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sunsets on the water were truly breathtaking. I also wanted to mention how I love that we were able to spend it with our puppy, kind of rare to find a nice waterfront like this that allows animals! We will definitely be back next summer.

We were visiting family in the area with our dog and this was the perfect location. Easy to get around. Great accommodations. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard with a view to the goats, deer, wild turkeys. The house was great with 3 bedrooms and a huge living area. The kitchen junk drawer actually had things you might need like an extension cord or tape. Felt right at home!

This is one of the most well-appointed Airbnbs I have every stayed in, especially for someone who loves to cook! It was also very family friendly, as we had a one year old in tow. It is right on the lake and the view is so peaceful and blue. We came in cold weather so did not experience the water or the busy season, but it was perfect all the same. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very clean. Everything - furniture, appliances, etc. - were spotless and in good working order. There were spots to store things, so even though there were six of us (including a baby!) it never felt cluttered or messy. Lots of games provided and the attached all season porch was nice for reading or winding down at the end of the day. 11/10 stars!!!

Such a cute place right on the water. Would love to be here in the warm weather but it’s beautiful in the snow too! Suzanne was such a great host! Highly recommend 😊

Absolute fantastic little cottage for a little get away.

We throughly enjoyed staying at Jeff’s place. The house is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. It is walkable to cute downtown Sylvania and grocery store. The house itself was very clean with modern amenities. Our family of four were very comfortable at the house. We would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cottage. I highly recommend it. Morning coffee on the patio can't be beat for the wildlife lover.

Very nice cabin in a quiet area on a small lake. Sherry was very friendly and responsive to our requests. This was the perfect "home away from home" for our little swimming adventure. we'll come back next year if we can.

Thank you so much for your beautiful cottage! Our family loved it. The area is so pretty-breathtaking really. The cottage is beautifully renovated and adorable. We were not able to go boating this trip, but we definitely hope to be back and to go out on the pontoon boat. There's so much more hiking we would love to do, but our family came to town to visit relatives, and celebrate our dad's 90th birthday, so our time here was focused on that. We were so glad that it was a mere 10 minutes to get to Chelsea and the assisted living where he is staying. Thank you also for the thoughtful welcome gifts! And for the use of portacrib and a few toys for our 8 month old grandson! You guys are awesome, and we hope to be back soon for another visit. Much gratitude! Lauren and Steve and family

We stayed with our two children (1 and 3) for three months during some of our home renovations. It is super family friendly which is why we chose it! It was amazing to have a full size crib for our 1 year old, baby gates available and lots of toys/nugget couch for the kids to enjoy. I appreciated that the home felt lived in instead of brand new which meant I didn’t have to constantly worry about every move my kids made. We were comfortable here and the view was beautiful even though it was winter/early spring. Lindsey was great, always very responsive and answering any questions we had.

Julie's place was perfect for a fall break getaway with my husband. The cottage was well furnished, super clean, and very comfortable. I hadn't realized from the photos just how close the lake is to the house! We spent a lot of time sitting out on the back porch enjoying the amazing view of the lake. We also appreciated the proximity to Ann Arbor for restaurants and all of the wonderful parks in the area for biking and walking. We'd definitely go back!
