The unit was superb with spacious rooms and also private tub. My kids really enjoyed it.

The apartment is part of the Straits Quay complex which meant there were plenty of restaurants and a supermarket very close by. There is very easy access to other parts of Penang using Grab , or the local bus service . The restaurants and bars in the complex means that it can get noisy in the evenings but we did not find this disturbing particularly if the windows were closed. The swimming pool on the same floor is a real bonus. Wendy and Sharon always responded very quickly to any requests and were easy to deal with. This was our second stay in an apartment hosted by them.

Our stay at Cecilia's condo was for 2 months, so it quickly became our little home away from home. Everything met our expectations as per the description of the condo. The bed and livingroom furniture are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies and cookware. We used the stove daily for light cooking and there are two fridges which helps if you stock up on groceries. We loved the nature surrounding this condo and the regular visits by the monkeys. They instantly became the highlight of our stay, for sure. The sea view is also beautiful. There were plenty of cargo and cruise ships to watch, as well as the fishing boats that arrive early every morning. We chose not to rent a car. This location is very doable without one. We used Grab to get to and from Georgetown for shopping and touristy things. Overall, Cecilia's home is a wonderful stay for anyone looking for a natural setting, quiet, and of course monkeys! Thank you Cecilia for being such a gracious host!

Good place to stay, but furniture and TV a bit outdated

I had four weeks at Daniel and Grace's place. It was so beautiful looking out at the water and the location for groceries, food etc was spot on. The hosts are both very proactive and very friendly. The bed was super comfy (and I'm a bad sleeper), so I found that really good. I was often the only one in the pool, and it was so refreshing as I found the heat hard to handle. Would stay again if visiting Penang in future.

Nice place, great view. Lots good food nearby, and a few little night markets with good food (one by the nearby Lotus). A bit far from Georgetown but a 20min Grab will get you there. If you want to stay a little out of the hustle and bustle this is a great choice. Also low traffic and open areas to run (good place to prep for Penang Bridge Marathon) if that's something you are looking for.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It is close to the city and other major places. Moreover, the host is friendly and very helpful. She made us feel like a home. We definitely would love to come back.

Unforgettable stay with an amazing view! We absolutely loved our time here. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as shown in the photos—but the view was even better in person! Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery was breathtaking and made our stay extra special. The host was warm and attentive, and the location was perfect for relaxing while still being close to attractions. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a beautiful view!

Nice place, very clean and very spacious. Swimming pool view from balcony Was happy to have a filter in the kitchen which is very important. Coffee, milo and biscuits provided thank you very much. The dish wash liquid soap was filled in the shower bath container. Needs labelling. The lighting can be brighter very poor lighting especially in the rooms and bathrooms. Otherwise all was good and finally my little poodle also enjoyed the stay.

it is a great experience staying at Alvin's place. It is a heritage house, full with characters. my family and I also want an Airbnb which is bigger than a hotel room and has privacy. This place exceeded our expectations. The place is easy to find, there are a lot of good restaurants nearby(Alvin also gives good recommendations!) Alvin is a very accommodating and proactive host. I would love to come back to stay with Alvin again! lastly, Penang is amazing 😍

The place is clean and have the basic items. Love how there is ventilation fan in the bathrooms to keep them dry. Host is responsive when I encountered issue with the washing machine.

Place had a great view of the Penang Bridge. Host is also quick to respond via WA to any quires we had plus sending items that were needed like extra hangers and towels etc. The furnishings are a little dated but still a comfortable enough stay. There is breakfast provided that you can also request to be sent to your apt. Queensbay Mall is also a 5mins+ car ride away which is nice. Checking in and out was easy - do note there is a deposit that you need to place which you can get back after checking out.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The building was lovely - amazing swimming pools, a gym, a room for the children to play and a running track, we were really happy. Everything was a good standard. There were lots of shops and restaurants walkable. And as traffic across Penang always seems slow it was nice to be between the beach and George town. Wendy and Sharon were great hosts, clear instructions, and very quick to respond to any questions we had. The flat was exactly as in the photos, spacious and very comfortable for our stay of 5 weeks. We would absolutely recommend.

Clean and nice place...

I stayed here for almost a month and I really liked the place. super easy to go the groceries on the basement floor and plenty of restaurants and gyms in the area. within walking distance of several malls and public transport right outside. only comment is the power outlets in the apartment aren't conveniently located but that's easy to work around

It was a great location that we could explore both Bayan Lepas and Georgetown areas without having to drive out foo far. Zac was very responsive, considerate with our timing, and gave good directions. Getting in at first was a bit confusing, but it's all easy once we get to the carpark & room. Considerably quick lifts. Room was clean and had plenty of useful amenities. Cool aircond and hot shower are working well. If I may suggest, some items seem a bit outdated and perhaps it's time for an upgrade to make the home feel more comfortable.

Though building from outside looks old but inside the property is cosy, very clean and exactly as per the description

Been to the condo multiple times, Swee is definitely the best stay/host in the area. Truly a hidden gem! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, like ikea showroom, and felt like a home away from home. The host was responsive, warm, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, great location, and cozy vibes all around. Would 100% stay here again and again and again!!! highly recommended!

Die Wohnung ist grosszügig und hat in jedem Zimmer einen Ventilator und eine Klimaanlage. Es gibt auch einen großen Pool, Kinderplanschbecken und ein Fitnessstudio. Insgesamt gibt es drei Parkplätze zu denen man 8 Halbstockwerke hochfahren muss. Der Pförtner lässt einen nicht auf dem Besucherparkplatz parken, insgesamt ist der etwas schwierig da er meinen Sohn Fragen gestellt hat die nicht zu seiner Aufgabe gezählt hat. Wir haben das direkt abgestellt und dann hat er auch funktioniert. Insgesamt tolle Unterkunft und tolle Aussicht und Ruhe.
