Stay amongst the Scottish hills and lochs in The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Our private, no pets, one bedroom bothy is a cosy haven settled in Balquhidder Glen. Enjoy the wildlife as Deer, Red Squirrel, Pheasants and wild Rabbits will be your neighbours. Climb the many mountains in the area, some within walking distance of our front door or explore the local walks. Visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor or curl up infront of our woodburning stove with some hot cocoa and a good book.

The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

The Bothy is a self-contained wooden cabin on the edge of our own woodland at West Cottage and Stables, nestling in the heart of Glen Lyon and at the beginning of many excellent walks and cycle rides. There's a double bed, extra bed, luxury bathroom, and wood burning stove. There's a hob, fridge, and everything you need to cook with, but no oven. We can put something in the oven for you up at the house if you need us to.
