A Perfect Retreat in the Heart of the City We had a wonderful 2-day family vacation at Nandani’s place. The cottage feels like a dream straight out of the 1900s—cozy yet spacious, with a beautiful garden and lawn perfect for relaxing during the day or enjoying the evening breeze. Despite being right in the city center, the location is peaceful, and most attractions are within walking distance. For a great meal, we recommend Tiger Tiger for lunch—it’s conveniently located right in front of the cottage. The caretakers are incredibly honest and kind, and their three well-mannered children respect your privacy, only interacting when approached. Overall, a perfect blend of vintage charm, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Deepak and His family were a great hosts! Felt right at home! Amazing place to stay right in the middest of nature! My family loved every bit of the stay! Surely recommend everyone to stay here if you are nature lover and don't like crowded places!

We stayed for 3 days and it was a really beautiful place. The name suits the place very well. The hosts were really sweet and friendly. Made us very comfortable. They offer coffee every day and was a nice gesture to make us feel at home. The place was clean and as shown in the pictures. It was easy to commute to the nearby locations like Raja Seat Garden, Madikeri fort etc. Would recommend staying here 10/10

My friends and I visited Doc’s place and had the absolute best time ever. The house was straight out of a movie and travel arrangements for pickup and drop were perfectly arranged. Sharath, Rajkumar and Doc were only a call away and were always ready to help us with anything that we needed. The home cooked food, local experiences, and accessibility to the most pristine beach and backwaters made this place worth every penny. The home decor and amenities were curated beautifully. Doc even arranged for us to visit a Theyyam festival where we were accompanied by an in-house Kalari artist who explained the significance of the festival and guided us through its history. The only drawback was the incessant mosquitoes through the night, but these can be kept at bay with Odomos and mosquito repellents Overall, this find was a gem and I can’t wait to be back. Truly Gods own country 🌺

The resort was a perfect place to relax in nature, away from the city. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help, making our stay comfortable. We absolutely loved the food—it was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. We truly enjoyed our stay!!!

Excellent location- waking up to bird songs and playing with Raho pets was so fun. The river is a 15mins walk away and it was a delight to be able to visit and experience the calm waters. Staff was impeccable and very responsive! Make sure you carry odomos :)

It's such a beautiful property and a perfect getaway from the city hustle. Waking up to such a breathtaking view. The food was AMAZING no complaints there, they provide both veg and non veg food. The property is beautiful, we took a morning walk in the coffee estate they also have a friendly pet dog putta who accompanied us to the morning walk. We were 3 girls and it's a safe property even if it's just a group of girls travelling. They also provide rental taxi contact details if you don't have your own vehicle. I would highly recommend this place to friends group or families too!

Everything matched the description and it was lovely to be there.The only thing the bothered us a bit were the cats though cute the didn’t let us have our food outdoors although some would love that. So all in all it was a great place would definitely recommend
