Book the property with no second thought. The best place where you want to spend your weekend with family or friends away from the city hustle. Things to do: Reach the property around late afternoon. Enjoy the sunset and have a great time with all the activities. Try out kayaking and canoeing the next morning, the host will suggest the best places and he will take care of everything. The host, Shiju is super friendly and took good care right from reaching out to the property and till the checkout.

Anilals place is at the centre of backwaters. It was a bit hard to find but Anilal was very responsive and guided us. He was an amazing host and showed us around even though we arrived late. The dinner and breakfast were very delicious and homemade. The backwaters from Anilals home had the most beautiful sunrise. Would recommend.

This place makes you feel at ease—everything is taken care of, and the staff is always there if you need anything. The maintenance team is super kind and helpful. A very well maintained property with a great host. Guests who would like to have a peaceful, relaxed holiday would love the place. It is near the town but away from its hustle & bustle. Guests who love reading books have ample cozy places to enjoy; or can spent time gazing at the canal/backwaters or go for a 'lazy walk' around the property. A canoe ride in the backwaters in the evening or early morning and kayaking during the stay will be an added highlight. Food is home cooked in traditional Kerala style and is super delicious. The host and his family are all there to take care of the Guest's needs. Overall a great homestay, super hosts & delicious home made food.

An amazing traditional keralan cottage that exceeded our expectations. In a great location out of the wa of the tourist area so we felt like we were right amongst the locals but also next to the backwaters, so beautiful. Great staff and facilities would highly recommend

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ann’s Aqua Stay in Kumbalangi! From the moment we arrived, our hosts Jeen and Annie made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They were truly super hosts, always attentive and thoughtful. One of the highlights of our trip was experiencing the magical bioluminescence, which we would have missed if not for Jeen’s fantastic recommendation. It was an unforgettable experience! The location is serene and peaceful, making it the perfect getaway to slow down and unwind. The rooms are well-equipped with hot water, air conditioning, and comfortable beds, ensuring a restful stay. But what truly stood out was the outdoor kitchen—a beautifully designed space where we enjoyed relaxing meals while soaking in the natural beauty around us. Overall, we are extremely happy with our stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a tranquil and rejuvenating retreat!

We stayed at Thira Marari for two days and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and provided us with local recommendations. The caretaker Jomon was always around to help and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The complimentary home-cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. The property was well-planned and thoughtfully designed, with all necessary amenities and beautifully maintained garden spaces. The views were breathtaking, with the beach visible from the lawn and the constant sound of waves in the background. The viewing deck was a great bonus, where we spent our evenings watching magnificent sunsets. It's rare to find a stay that blends comfort, beauty and genuine care so effortlessly. Highly recommend this for a peaceful and unique stay, wonderful hosts, and an unforgettable experience.

It is an extremely serene and calm place. It was perfect for our family getaway and apt for our occasion. 2 caretakers helped us with everything and were very responsive whenever a need arose. It was a great space.
