Our stay was fabulous. The house is homely and is very well equipped. Tinker was an amazing host and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Sinhle welcomed us and she was an absolute delight. We were a group varying in age from 2 to 70 and we had everything we needed. If I could fault anything it’s that there is no surrounding wall for the boma which can be tricky when there are little people. Thank you Tinker, we had a great time.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful and peaceful place, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It's perfect for anyone looking to unwind and escape the noise of daily life. Everything was 👌, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. And i love that is modernized. Waking up seeing animals what more do you want? Whether you're traveling for rest, work, or just a change of scenery, this spot is a hidden gem. We had an incredible experience staying at Buffalo Brooke! Gail was very responsive to all of our questions in advance of our stay. She set-up safaris prior to our arrival. Buffalo Brooke itself is an amazing place to stay! We had ample room for our group to spread out. The rooms were large, clean and perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff, Leya and Blessing, were helpful in keeping the house cleaned. We were grateful for their help in making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The views from Buffalo Brooke are surreal! We had elephants and hippos cross the river onto our side. Each morning, we ate our breakfast outside while watching the hippos play. Jacques is such a great safari guide. He was able to locate a leopard for us to complete our Big 5 search! Jacques was extremely personable, answering all of our questions about the animals and reserve. We were in awe of all that we were able to see with Jacques. We wished that we could have stayed longer!!

As a Brit visiting South Africa we got fantastic value for money in a top class venue. Jaco made it so easy and smooth. I highly recommend this accommodation. Many thanks until next time.

We had a 10 day stay with our family from Germany. It was peaceful, beautiful and nice touch that the entire farm, grounds and surrounds were available to us to explore. The farm manager was helpful, we enjoyed meeting the owners. The facilities are great and a bonus of having staff accommodation at no additional cost which enabled us to have our chef and nanny travel with us.

Great location, clean, tidy & very secure. Added bonus having the use of the kayak to go out into the dam.

Jacana Lodge was the perfect location for us to enjoy the bush and still bring little ones who tired quickly on game drives. The pool, game room, and jungle gym were a huge hit. We had an elephant walk up right to the fence and saw wild dog hunt across the river. Great memories. The support staff was incredibly helpful resolving issues we and we had a great memorable vacation
