Very dynamic neighborhood, you will find the Moulin Rouge and many gogo dancers. However, I do recommend to not leave the historic center of Pigalle and to not go too far on the Boulevard de Clichy, especially during the night. Very safe but be aware of pickpockets.

Pigalle has become a very trendy section of Paris. Very safe with lots of families living around. Do not miss la rue des Martyrs and its side streets.
