Family owned and managed, Sandwood Lodge is our cosy self catering log cabin. It is situated at Rowardennan on the East bank of Loch Lomond in Scotland. It is situated just 50 metres from the waters edge on a quiet, private site. Enjoy the peace & quiet and forest or lochside walks. In Summer enjoy easy access to the loch and beach which is great for watersports and outdoor activities or take trips away to explore Ben Lomond & The Trossachs or the surrounding countryside and West Highland Way.

The Anchorage, Family Friendly,Views, plus Kayaks

The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

We welcome you to our spacious, classic apartment, on Floor 1, in the 19th Century building of Lomond Castle on the 'Banks of Loch Lomond', not far from Balloch.This property has 2 bedrooms; 1 king bed & 2 single beds. It has an open planned kitchen/dining and living area. We are within walking distance of The Duck Bay Restaurant and Cameron House Resort. We find ourselves situtaed amongst all popular wedding venues in Loch Lomond; Lodge on Loch Lomond, The Cruin, Boturich Castle to name a few.

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Built in 1888, Cats Castle sits in two acres on the seaward side of the A814, just beyond the western edge of Dumbarton. The property has wonderful views down the Firth of Clyde. Cats Castle is close to Glasgow, Helensburgh, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The castle comprises three reception rooms, all with working fireplaces, a family kitchen, pantry, and five bedrooms, including the turret bedroom on the top floor. Nestled at the end of a private road between Drymen and Balmaha, it has its own private parking and enclosed garden. French doors open out onto a fabulous decking area furnished with a table and garden sofas. A few steps down from the deck sits a tastefully furnished Scandinavian BBQ hut. No matter the weather, you can still enjoy a BBQ!

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
