Nothing but a gate stands between you and the beaches of Ibiza at Villa Higueras. This brand-new oceanfront vacation rental is set right on the shore, a short walk from Cala Martina and Nikki Beach, and a short drive from Santa Eularia des Riu. Book this luxury home on its own for a holiday with up to ten friends and family, or with its sister property, Villa Algarrobos, for parties of up to eighteen guests.

Spend your stay lounging on the sunny terrace, swimming in the L-shaped pool, trying out local produce on the barbecue and enjoying everyone’s company around the shaded al-fresco dining area. There’s also a rooftop terrace for a lively soiree overlooking the ocean or a quiet night of stargazing, and a boat dock is available upon request.

The villa’s chic, contemporary interiors are a blend of sleek surfaces and organic textures. An open-plan living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen is flooded with sunlight from the fold-back glass wall, while polished concrete floors are cool underfoot. Pieces like a wicker sofa and leather butterfly chair are relaxed and inviting, and there’s room for everyone at the bar-height dining table.

Each of the five bedrooms at Villa Higueras has a queen bed and private en-suite bathroom; two of them also open to the terrace. Like the great room, the bedrooms are serene and contemporary, with fresh white walls and the same polished concrete floors. Hits of color come from throw pillows, artwork and, in the bathrooms, vibrant patterned tile.

Not only is Villa Higueras steps from the shore, it’s within walking distance of several beach clubs and restaurants. It’s a 5-minute drive from the villa to Santa Eularia des Riu, a quieter town ideal for family trips or laid-back honeymoons, where you’ll find shopping, dining and a convenient supermarket. For those who want to sample the island’s legendary nightlife, Ibiza Town is a 25-minute drive down the coast.
