Stone and whitewashed stucco soak up the Aegean sun at this traditionally inspired modern home on Mykonos. The villa is built into the hillside, so the rays sweep across neighboring hills and sparkle on the stretch of sea that’s visible from the partly shaded pool terrace and living room. Watch the sunset from your private patio or from the restaurant on the beach in Elia, an 8-minute walk away.

Spend sun-splashed days on a lounger by the pool, retreating to the shade of an alfresco sitting area and dining table for 10 or taking a swim if it gets too warm. A Nespresso machine will help start holiday mornings on the right note, while a wine cooler, smart TV with satellite reception, and Sonos sound system will help end evenings on a relaxed one.

Beamed ceilings and smooth floors in tones of white and cream make the interiors of this vacation rental feel bright and airy—with some assistance from the rows of doors leading to the terrace and looking out to the sea.
