Our Garden Home is a large, private 2-bedroom daylight basement with beautiful views of Mt. Hood. The exterior has its own very private garden area with lush vegetation and lots of shade, a covered patio to relax and stay cool, and a BBQ for those summer dinners outside . The 1,400sq ft space is flooded with light from the many windows on the east, south and west sides, and always stays very fresh and comfortable all year round, it is one of the nicest daylight basements to be found :)

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

Creekside (Cozy Cabin) covered deck & loft bedroom

Our creekside cabin features a cozy loft bedroom, kitchenette, wood stove, heat pump, full bath, and TVs with DVDs. Outside, enjoy an oversized covered deck with seating, fire pit, grill, and beautiful views of Mosier Creek and the hillside. Unwind to the sound of the water in this peaceful setting, minutes from wineries, Gorge hikes, wind-surfing and Hood River. Wi-Fi is available but can occasionally be temperamental due to our rural Starlink service.

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Hot tub under the stars. Relax at this quiet completely remodeled farmhouse. Built in 1900 this house has old world charm with modern amenities. The house is complete with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, wifi, TV, and hot tub. Enjoy everything the gorge has to offer, then unwind in the hot tub. Pets allowed :)
