Organic Farm Artistic Eco-Loft

We truly want Everyone to feel welcome here! Bar Harbor is a scenic 45 minute drive away. There is great hiking/xc skiing in our huge back yard (Sunrise trail/Maine reserve land) Rustic farm apartment with full kitchen, breakfast foods provided first day. Farm veg can be bought in season & our own wine, jam, hot sauce, maple syrup. Can accommodate 6 folks, one in a cupola! Hot shower & heat. There is a sawdust compost toilet-Easy to use & no smell! We are on Wabanaki land, give all respect.

Flower Farm Loft

When you arrive at the Flower Farm Loft you're greeted by our dogs, who will likely jump on you with muddy paws and request fetch and pets. You're immediately surrounded by flowers in our gardens and flower studio. The loft has big east facing windows that look over our farm and surrounding fields. You'll open the curtains in the morning to incredible sunrises over Kilkenny Cove, and end your nights at your private fire pit with immaculate star filled skies that will make it hard to go inside.

Direct connection to miles of hiking, biking & ski trails on Shepherd's Farm Preserve. Fish from our dock, use our canoes and kayaks, rent boats from the local marina or watch abundant wildlife from the deck - unlimited outdoor activities!

Property is located on 36 acres, owner lives on site in a separate house with her 3 dogs, 1 exceptionally lazy cat and 4 rogue chickens (they may all come visit you!). Grounds have ancient apple trees, loads of perennial gardens with more in progress, berries and an organic vegetable garden that we would love to share from if desired. Bailiwick Cottage is a cozy, private cottage that looks south down Freeport (Harraseeket) Harbor in Freeport, ME. It is a 4 season accommodation that is close to Freeport shopping, Portland eating, and the Adventure Schools of LL Bean. The cottage sits approximately 50 yards from our main house, has its own parking space and patio, and offers the ability to come and go as you wish. We have had 12 honeymoons in the cottage. This getaway features two spacious bedrooms plus an upstairs bedroom loft, sleeping up to 6 with ease. The large bathroom is accessed by both the master bedroom and living room and features on-site laundry. For guests who love to cook the kitchen is fully equipped and the deck is a perfect place to relax in the summer and enjoy the view. In colder seasons guests are encouraged to cozy up by the wood-burning stove or use the outdoor BARREL SAUNA.
