A charming house in the countryside with calm surroundings. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and the views around the house. The house has everything you need, and I would advise you to do a small shop before going there due to its location.

The location of the apartment is exactly as I had hoped - in a peaceful, quiet area and within a walkable distance to local supermarkets (including Aldi & Lidl). There were a couple of incidents (one of which was totally unforeseeable), but both of these were dealt with immediately by ‘Victoria’ who manages the property for Julien. Victoria was excellent. The only slight negative, as I’m a very light sleeper, was the thinness of the dividing walls. You can hear the neighbours moving around. They are extremely quiet after about 8:00pm, but when the family gets up at 6:45am to get the kids to school, the noise starts. It does, however, go quiet again about an hour later. If you sleep like a log, this won’t be an issue for you. Other than that, the surrounding area is stunning. Access to the North to places such as Lisbon, Nazaré, Peniche is easy (with a hire car). The same applies to Setubal and Sesimbra to the South.

Das Apartment ist ein Juwel! Sehr schöne Lage mit Blick auf den Fluss. Eigene Terrasse. Rita ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Tolles Anwesen, Katzen, Hunde, Pferde, Schweinchen, Pool, Tischtennis … alles da was Groß und Klein begehrt, herrliche Ruhe und doch ist der Strand nicht all zu weit weg, können wir nur empfehlen

Mariana’s home in Comporta was perfect in every way. Right in town, walkable to all the shops restaurants and bikes to the beach. She and her property manager were incredibly accommodating, hospitable and responsive. The home was beautiful, spacious, well maintained and had every amenity. I would love to stay here again and again and again. It truly made our trip to Comporta special and memorable. Thank you Mariana and Patricia!

We had a very nice and peaceful stay at casa Atejo. It's a place to connect with nature, to deconnect with the ratrace. The house is renovated wonderful, the fireplace is a big plus. It makes the house even more comfy and pleasant. We had a good contact with Boris and his sister by message and by the website AirBnb. Thank you for the wonderful week we had!

The apartment matches the description and is very nice and clean. Good place to stay with kids. The view is also pretty good. The location is actually very convenient. There is a ferry nearby (5 min walk) that shuttles every 15 minutes or so. It's inexpensive and it transfers you to the historical center. There are no traffic jams in the Tagus river so the travel time is below 10 minutes. There is a pedestrian street with a lot of restaurants nearby (100m). Unlike many places in tourist areas these are good. And it is possible to order food in one of them while boarding the ferry and pick up when on the other side. Very convenient after the whole day in the city.

A cozy place to stay. Need to climb stairs to 3rd floor. Not a problem for us but could be challenging for elderly people. Many restaurants are within walking distance.

João ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber! Er hat uns am ersten Tag mit dem Gepäck geholfen, durch die Wohnung geführt, war jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert worden. João hat sehr viele Besonderheiten eingebaut und viele ausgefallene Einrichtungsgegenstände verwendet (wie z. B. einen altertümlichen Schuhputzhocker, eine ebensolche Kommode, eine antike Schreibmaschine), die mit modernen Möbeln sehr gut harmonieren. Die Küche, Bäder und Fenster sind modern und sehr gut renoviert. Zu beachten ist der vierte Stock ohne Aufzug. Die Wohnung ist mitten im Leben gelegen (wegen der guten Fenster aber ruhig): Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, gute Restaurants auch mit Fado und Bars (23 Biere frisch gezapft) sind sehr nah gelegen. Einige Sehenswürdigkeiten ebenfalls, (z. B. Fadomuseum, Biermuseum) für andere sind öffentliche Verkehrsmittel fussläufig gut erreichbar. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen!

Great place to stay. It is as decribed. Clean, lovely and has everything. This is the place where i will stay again when i am back to Lisbon.

We had a great stay! The balconies was great to use to catch some sun. It was always easy to get in touch with the host. The apartment was clean. It was also very spacious!

The house was very well located, close to the beach with a parking lot closeby We have enjoyed our time and particularly the barbecue. If you are doing kitesurf it’s a very nice spot, just in front of one of the spots so you can go walking.

Casita muy agradable y tranquila en el campo para explorar la zona con calma. Jardincito estupendo para desayunar y cenar. Bien equipada pero una pena que el agua no sea potable. El primer día nos costó encontrarla pero en verdad es muy fácil, además Thais es muy amable y la comunicación excelente. Volveríamos encantados.

This is a lovely cottage with a private walled garden. There's a good variety plants - fresh mint, banana trees, various flowers, a lovely place to relax after a busy day exploring. There is a gas barbeque and a large garden table for dinner. The hot tub is a real bonus! The cottage is tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. We appreciated the fruit basket, bread and jam. We recommend booking the hot springs in Evora and having a massage. Google inacquaveritas We highly recommend Carlos place - one not to be missed!

O espaço superou as minhas expectativas — muito limpo, bem decorado e com todos os detalhes pensados ao pormenor para proporcionar conforto e bem-estar. Supermercados a 5min da casa, o que é incrível. A comunicação foi sempre fácil e rápida, e senti-me muito bem recebida. Foi uma experiência mesmo agradável e sem dúvida que voltaria a repetir. This was the best house we have stayed in around the Aljezur/Arrifana area. This was our 3rd visit to the area and we stayed at Marta’s on a friends recommendation. There are even peekaboo views of the ocean. The house is non-corporate in every good way. There is an ancient piano in the living room - and it was correctly tuned! There is local art and the furniture is not just ikea cheap stuff. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The area is great - kind of in between two different beaches. You can drive 3 minutes to a bunch of restaurants or walk 10 minutes to a few others at the roundabout. We did a run in the morning and there’s even a lake about 5 minutes away. All very peaceful, no traffic. We would happily stay here again.

We liked everything about the stay in casa Mimosa. It sure isn’t a place to party, it is a location to enjoy peace and quiet. Casa mimosa house is divided to two halves, but it isn’t a problem at all - there is enough privacy and terraces are located separately. The house is well equipped and clean. Lovely garden that you can explore freely. Sometimes there is a baker who brings fresh bread to the reception area. Prem welcomed us kindly and took us and our luggage to the house, recommended local hiking trails, restaurants etc. It was wonderful to relax in total peacefulness, the sleep quality was epic.
