Six lifelong friends used this lovely home for a reunion, locally. It suited our needs perfectly. Having a downstairs bedroom and a full bath was helpful for one of us with mobility issues. House was clean and roomy. Host was communicative and responsive. Could not ask for much more. Would return!

Came for a weekend away going to wineries and it was the perfect location. Located conveniently near a lot of wineries. The home appeared to be newly renovated with great furnishings & very clean ! Would definitely go again!

Beautiful home in a peaceful, private location. We were so comfortable and felt right at home! The large open concept kitchen and living room were perfect for family cooking and visiting. Incredibly comfortable reclining couches in the living room. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evening, in the screened in gazebo. Perfect Airbnb for a fall get away! We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It’s the perfect getaway—cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The highlight for us has to be the sunsets. We've traveled to many places, but nothing compares to the breathtaking sunsets here. The view is simply magical, with the sky painted in the most vibrant hues. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the porch has become our favorite part of each day. We can't recommend this place enough !

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time, and the place was perfect for our needs. Kayte was friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We were in town for the high school production of Mama Mia and could easily walk to the theater as well as town and shopping. We would absolutely love to stay here again, maybe for next year's play!?!

The house was perfect! Seems to be an all season location. Fantastic access to Hamilton and Colgate. Also great location for discovering restaurants and activities beyond Hamilton. Can’t wait to visit again!

Thanks Douglas for the perfect cottage. The cottage is right on the lake Ontario and is huge. Its suitable for large groups. Garden is spacious, home was very neat & clean and perfect sunrise views. The deck can accommodate 15+ people for barbeque evenings. The dark skies are perfect for celestial viewing. We will recommend this for vacations.

He went above and beyond for our family and made us feel like we were home away from home.
