Camel's Hump Remote Mountain Cottage

Escape to this peaceful getaway with beautiful mountain views. Our cottage is ideal for the adventure seeker, nature lover or remote worker. Located less than two miles from Camel’s Hump trail head and less than 30 miles from ski resorts, including Stowe, Sugarbush, Bolton, Cochran and Mad River. The area offers plenty of outdoor activities from hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, kayaking and only 15 min from local restaurants, breweries and shops.

This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. Our mission is to create an atmosphere of tranquility, calmness and peace. We offer mother nature outside your door with easy access to all the activities you desire.

The Vershire Fortress

The property spans 6 acres that are available to all guests looking for a bit of snow-shoeing or a walk in the woods. Plus recent renovations! Surrounded by gardens and not far from downhill skiing and hiking options, swimming, sailing, dining and Lake Champlain.
