The house was perfect. Clean, neat and comfortable. So beautifully situated at the lake. The outside was wonderful. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking. A great stay!

Cute place and very clean. Note that the cat requires some care (e.g., being let in and out, refilling the food bowl) which was concerning for us as the weather was very cold and we were away from the house for most of the day and did not want to leave her out in the cold for 12-14 hours at a time. She is very affectionate, tends to want to sleep in the bed, and may wake you up throughout the night. There are lots of scented things around the house (plug-in air fresheners, aromatic pillow sprays, essential oils, etc.) which can be problematic for those of us with sensitivities to artificial fragrances. The house is not well set up for early morning coffee drinkers. There is a deli near by but the coffee is not very good and the market across the street does not open until 8am. We ended up getting our own coffee pot.

Stayed at Barn Door Cottage for a family wedding. From the time of booking, Devon was helpful, responsive and easy to communicate with. From booking to check-in, the directions were clear and straight-forward, which made settling in for the weekend all the easier. The house is adorable and decorated in the area’s motif and is homey, warm and welcoming. Will look to stay again for the next family trip to New Hope/Lambertville!

My family and I absolutely loved our time here! We instantly felt at home and were able to run out during the day and do all sorts of fun activities and be able to come back to a comfortable and peaceful home where we could rest and reset for the next day’s activities. Dee’s home is so so charming and we will definitely be staying again if it’s available the next time we’re in town!

My family had a great time at Oly & Sheila’s property. We appreciated their hospitality and the convenience of their location.

I recently just spent one month at Edward’s place and loved every minute of it. As other reviewers have noted, the layout is a little nontraditional, as you enter through a small sunroom and then go directly into the bedroom, then the living room/kitchen with the bathroom at the back. The kitchen was stocked with basic pots/pans, glassware, and dishes. The real gem of this listing is it’s location- it was next to a large park with many adorable dogs, the main strip of Chestnut Hill 2 min walk, a market, a playground, and easy parking around the vicinity. It offered a great home base to explore Philadelphia with good access to bus lines and the train if you did not have a car. Additionally, since I was at this spot for an entire month I needed additional supplies (ie mop) which Edward promptly ordered to the house. I look forward to returning to this spot next time work brings me to Philly!

Our recent stay in Lambertville, NJ, marked our second time visiting this charming town, and once again, it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the same warmth and hospitality that made our first visit so memorable. The accommodations were spotless, reflecting the impeccable attention to detail and care from our wonderful host. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly enhanced our experience. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed a variety of activities that made our trip both relaxing and fun. Whether exploring the local shops, savoring delicious meals, or simply soaking in the scenic beauty of the area, every moment was delightful. Lambertville continues to be a favorite destination for us, and we look forward to returning again soon!

Loved it. Beautiful spot. Had a small issue with a malfunctioning light and Stuart fixed immediately. 5 stars, would stay again.

Wayne was super awesome in every aspect! We had a few hiccups but he solved everything ASAP! The home is perfect, the beds are so comfy and the outside amenities were even better. My family of 5 and I, including our furry member all enjoyed our stay! Definitely recommend!
