Our stay at Three Ferns was the perfect escape in the long weekend break, going above and beyond our expectations. This elegant place is spacious, private and thoughtfully curated, with comforting treats provided by Mary. The surrounding nature made us feel very grounded and relaxed. The pictures in the listing are exactly as they are in real life - it truly is spectacular and delightful! Our trip was interrupted by our car unexpectedly breaking down, and Mary was incredibly kind and helpful in assisting us - picking us up, dropping us off and even providing us with a delicious pumpkin soup! Thank you Mary for being such an absolutely amazing host, you really are a lovely human being and we appreciate all your support while we were there. We hope to be back sometime again, and would definitely recommend this stay to our family, friends and anyone wanting a 5 star experience.

Nice wee place in a rural setting with a nice large deck that looked out over a pond with birdlife etc. The driveway goes right behind the accommodation but the accommodation is situated a good distance away from the main house. A reasonable amount of kitchen stuff and one hotplate to make basic meals with which was good as we were staying longer than a night or two. Very straight forward to get into town from there as well.

Wir fühlten uns bei Debra von Anfang an sehr wohl. Die Unterkunft ist gut und praktisch ausgestattet, der Ausblick über die Bay ist grandios. Neben klaren Regeln und diversen hilfreichen Tipps gab es auch Milch, Saft, Brot, Butter, Marmelade, Obst, Joghurt...., was will man mehr. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir nochmal in der Nähe sind.

We didn’t want to leave! Your warm welcome on our arrival, accompanied by a gorgeous handwritten note, warm sourdough bread, fresh milk and freshly baked walnut chocolate chip biscuits, perfectly epitomised our stay at Cowshed Cottage! We loved the well-thought-out decor, the delightful linens on the comfy bed, and all the welcoming nooks that begged us to enjoy them with a hot drink and a good book in such a peaceful setting. The Cowshed Cottage, and you both, are the blissful warm hug that had us breathing deeply and releasing any stress we didn’t know we needed. One night was not enough! With a longer stay, we might just feel inclined to try out the spectacular gym, although I think cosying down with a glass of something delicious and another book might win out. We can’t wait to return and we will definitely be staying longer next time. Thank you both again for everything.

Leonie is still the best host in Kerikeri. We have stayed here multiple times and will definitely be back. Can highly recommend Leonie and her property. No issues at all.

We can only echo the sentiment shared by others who have stayed here, the views are wonderful, the house is well equipped, it's clean, it's peaceful and relaxing (for everyone!). The house was nice and cozy when the weather wasn't too great and there were plenty of games/activities in and around the house to keep us all entertained (3 kids). Cosy, peaceful and private. Right on the door step to Bay of Islands, KeriKeri and more. We mostly cooked and the utensils and cooking facilities available was all we needed. The space was all we needed and would suit a small family. We loved our short stay and was happy that we found this listing at such a busy time for travel. Thanks Ingrid!

We enjoyed our stay at Laurel’s place. A lovely setting and close to Kerikeri village. Laurel was a friendly and helpful host and we would happily stay again
