For those who aren’t familiar, Gov't Camp is Mount Hood’s beautiful alpine town, and offers easy access to world-renowned skiing, cross country paths, hiking trails, mountain lakes, and more. The village offers restaurants, pubs, deli/cafes and shopping; our cabin itself is not fancy, but it's super cozy, and just a 5 minute walk to everything! Barlow Cabin has great Mt Hood (11,245 feet) old growth and meadow views One mile to Trillium Lake and close to hiking trails. King sized bed main floor, 2 bedrooms 2nd floor. Note that second floor access is steep not suited for young children or disabled. Woodstove with glass window, firewood supplied but always good to bring kindling and matches) Can sleep up to 10 Sounds of Mineral Creek are heard, outdoor cedar sauna,. In winter we are 1.5 miles in on snowshoes/hiking xcountry skis

The marina is nearby with water rentals, the Pine Meadows Golf Course is just south of the lake, nearby Maupin has amazing river rafting, and there is miles of hiking/biking trails in the adjacent wilderness area. Our expansive deck and yard is also the perfect place to just recline and watch the wildlife, read, or play a game. This place has it all!

Welcome to our log cabin! We are a family with 6 kids who really love this cabin and want to share it. Please enjoy yourselves and know that we are not a big corporation but a family. The deer come out in every season, don't be surprised if you see them in the driveway. We have a feeder on the side fence for them. The cabin has comfy beds, extra blankets and pillows, a fully stocked kitchen including cast iron to cook, chilly A/C, a wood stove for winter, & new reclining La-Z-Boy couches.
