He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Forest Tiny House | Fire Pit | Olympic Peninsula

Tucked into a lush rain forest, this cozy and private tiny house is a peaceful retreat for slowing down. Wake to birdsong and filtered light through the towering trees, enjoy coffee or wine outdoors on the deck, grill dinner and gather by the fire pit as stars appear through the forest canopy. A simple, thoughtfully designed base for exploring the port towns and the Olympic Peninsula — or doing nothing at all. That's how we planned it. Small pets welcome. Captain's Cottage

The Captain's Cottage has a nautical flair. In keeping with the theme, you climb the stairs to sleep in the Captain's Quarters...watch TV in bed, or even spin the ship's wheel at the helm! There is a full kitchen, living room with the double bed/couch (linens in armoire), while you watch TV and enjoy the cozy electric fireplace...or read a book from the shelf library. The powder room leads into the bathroom with a full size shower showcasing a rainshower head, and you can choose the color!

Mature cedar, fir, spruce, and big leaf maple trees abound, a year-round creek runs through the property, and a wonderful beach awaits you with habitat that boasts nesting eagles, osprey, otters, raccoons, opossums, and a myriad of waterfowl, songbirds, and hummingbirds. Two single kayaks are available for your enjoyment! Enjoy oysters?...gather them right off the beach!
