Great base to explore the area

we stayed with sharon for a weekend at the beautiful lodge. a very comfortable space, well thought out, with a very well-equipped kitchen (nothing was missing!), spacious and well-maintained bathrooms. a living room with a beautiful view. good price, very close to the town and with very nice and caring hosts.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay in Jan’s accommodation. We arrived 1st week of March and were greeted with a very clean, warm living space. The freshly cut Daffodils were a nice touch. You get your own little boundary containing a lush lawn, 2 beautiful apple trees and lots of seasonal flowers, it’s pretty and you get a nice sense of privacy. Jan is a great host. She is very friendly & communicative, has great local knowledge and always happy to help with whatever she can. She gives you plenty of space to enjoy your break but if you’re up for a chinwag she has all the time for you. The town of Bishops Castle has a lot to offer, with lots of small businesses that seem to be thriving. There are a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes all of which are good in their own ways. Our favourite was probably the Happy Bap for a small bite and a coffee. There is also an excellent quality butcher, petrol station, 2 convenience shops and variety of cute crafty shops.

Cute little home, perfect for a night in the valleys. It was very cosy and just what we needed for our stay. I also had a very deep sleep in the huge bed upstairs. Very comfy and with no outside noise did not wake once! Would stay again.

Exceptionnel ! Je recommande vivement le cottage, il est chaleureux, très propre, cosy et bien décoré. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut. L'environnement est incroyable et calme !

Great stay, exceeded expectations

Me my partner and two sons stayed here for Easter weekend. We absolutely loved are stay… the site the lodge is situated in was lovely with great facilities for my 4 year old son. He loved the swimming pool and park. Me and my partner also got a lovely massage! The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. (Full equipped kitchen, towels and robes, tea and coffee) The jacuzzi was the highlight of the weekend! We enjoyed it so much we have booked to return for my son’s birthday weekend :)

We stayed here as part of our Bikepacking trip along NCR 8. They stored our bike securely, which we really appreciated. They had Netflix in the room which was great! We paid extra for dinner and had a lovely chilli con carne. They did a sports wash for us too. A simple stay, we felt very welcome and perfect for what we needed! Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at the nest! It is a lovely peaceful location with plenty of space! The wood fire was warm and cosy and the sofa was so comfy and honestly a big selling point for us and lovely to chill on in an evening! The property was clean and just so so lovely! The hosts are very helpful, quick to respond and answered all our questions quickly. It honestly is a beautiful place to stay. It is quite rural but we wanted that as we live in a city it was nice to be in a quiet space! We drove into Ludlow about 35 minute drive and had an amazing meal at a restaurant called The French Pantry I really recommend this place it was extremely good food! The cooking facilities at the nest are great with everything you need so we also cooked as well. The bathroom is lovely and feels brand new! I really recommend this. We could 100% come back xxx

Cosy and comfortable caravan in a lovely rural spot. Useful stop over on the Cambrian Way - just remember to plan for the extra mile to the location once you reach Devil's Bridge. Great communication in advance of stay with detailed location information. Welcome pack much appreciated -especially as I was backpacking.

Nikki was very responsive and helpful. The unit was spotlessly clean, well-equipped given its size, and had superb rural views. Although Nikki and her family live in an adjoining building, they were respectful of our privacy and the place was exceptionally quiet. It is a small unit - essentially a bed-sit or studio room plus a compact bathroom. That said, Nikki has made this clear in her description of the property and it is reflected in the price, which represents excellent value for money. Furthermore, my wife and I were travelling with a fair amount of luggage and yet managed to cope without any problems. In sum, I can recommend the property without hesitation for a couple wanting either a stopover or a base from which to tour mid-Wales.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dolguog. The room was as described and easy access. Great communications from Stephanie our host and a super breakfast in the morning. Would come back again for sure.

My family and I had a lovely stay in elenor cottage , the surrounding scenery is breathtaking and peaceful , the cottage is homely with everything you need including a lovely welcome basket , Kathryn was a great host always responsive and greeted us when we arrived would definitely come back and reccommend to friends and family

Bryn dropped us a pin to make our journey very easy and straight to the front door for a great start Before we set off Bryn had sent us many recommendations for places to visit and eat, with this information we booked 2 evening meals in the local pub The Raven reccomended by Bryn A great tour of the property and its ammeinaties from the host set us up. The views from the property are breathtaking and some wonderful walks with the dogs The hotub was so relaxed and private, we had a few drinks and let the dogs safely walk about whilst listening to some music The Sauna is a must for your stay I had a few visits myself The property itself was spotlessly clean, kitchen full of everything you would need all and in great condition The beds a very comcomfortable, we did struggle to keep the dogs off though haha. The main living area views are amazing, just to sit and look out in the morning whilst havhaving a brew is worth a visit by itself A perfect visit just wish we had longer

We loved staying in the Mill Pond Caravan. The grounds are just stunning! Julie's instructions were very clear, so we found it and got in easily. The caravan is cosy and well equipped. fresh clean towels and bed linens and extra blankets if you get chilly. We had a bit of a wet week weather-wise, so it was great to be able to pop the heating on quickly in the morning to take the edge off. Otherwise, the caravan is warm and dry and cosy. Julie is definitely a super host, very friendly and welcoming. The kids absolutely loved the walk up into the orchard and then back down by the waterfall to follow the mill stream back. We had the most amazing stay at the garage. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The home has everything you need and it is beautifully decorated. It was one of the cleanest places we have stayed in and the views and hot tub was perfect. Anna and her family are lovely, really accommodating and friendly. It’s the perfect location if you have a dog and just want a peaceful stay away. We were sad to leave and will definitely be returning! Thank you Anna for a lovely stay
