There is a park nearby, a surf club, and easily accessible bevy of shops (Four Square grocery, restaurants and bakeries, laundromat, and a spirits store) in Red Beach or venture just a little further to Orewa for more cafes and restaurants

Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.
