The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

We've artfully brought its unique character to life using reclaimed materials from a local church, a distillery, and nearby woodlands. A short walk leads you to the stunning beauty of Loch Lomond, making it the perfect base to relax, explore nature, and feel connected to Scotland's past.

Leac Na Sith, a cottage on the beach

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the isle of Bute, the "secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Fa'side Cottage is a detached house on the grounds of Fa'side House on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland. Located to the south of Glasgow the house is within walking distance to amenities in Newton Mearns. With 12 acres of beautiful gardens and surrounding land to enjoy, the cottage is secluded with views of the Campsies and much of Glasgow. Glasgow city centre is 15 minutes by car. The cottage is also handily located for those seeking to explore Ayrshire.

One double bedroom, bathroom with electric shower, fully equipped kitchen, separate living room with sofa bed. Wifi. Private parking. Close to motorway access to Glasgow (20 minutes). 15 mins to Royal Alexandra Hospital, 15 minutes to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Braehead shopping Centre and arena. Erskine (10 mins away) has a Morrisons, Aldi, butcher etc.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

The Point is a beautifully appointed remote holiday cottage on the banks of Loch Striven, Argyll, Scotland. The master bedroom features a sitting area and a balcony .The second bedroom has a double bed, robe, chest of drawers. The kitchen is delightful and a joy to cook in - fully appointed with an Aga stove. The most perfect romantic retreat with uninterrupted views over Loch Striven.
