A wonderful stay in a beautiful home. We loved the views.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön - wie auf den Bildern zu sehen! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber dennoch nah an Edinburgh - wunderbar, um von dort aus in die Stadt oder mit dem Mietwagen in die Natur zu fahren. Unser Gastgeber war immer sehr gut zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Ein Nachteil war (für uns) die Auffahrt: Durch den Schotteruntergrund sind die Reifen bei der Einfahrt durchgedreht und bei der Ausfahrt ist der Wagen trotz Bremsen weiter hinab getuscht. Das war etwas nervenaufreibend. Insgesamt würden wir diese Unterkunft aber in jedem Fall empfehlen!

We had a fantastic stay at the Trail House. the cottage is perfectly located for walking and cycling in the glentress forest, and is walking distance to the local pub/restaurant. the house was perfectly set up for everything we needed, and Hayley was a super responsive and flexible host.

Nice surroundings for walks, etc, and it is close to Selkirk for amenities. Will stay again if require three bedrooms

Amazing place, beautiful location. I think it’s one of my top destinations I’ve ever visited. Haven cottage was very cozy, spacious and had everything we needed. Just 5 minutes from home there is a beautiful Coldingham beach and it was so peaceful to walk there in the mornings. St Abbs was just 20 minutes walk and the views were breathtaking. Bob was very welcoming and kind. He drove us to the station so we can get back to Edinburgh. Thank you so much 🥹♥️

We spent a lovely bank holiday weekend here, Marjorie was really responsive and welcomed us when we arrived. The house was lovely and clean, and we really appreciated the chocolates left for us! The house is in a beautiful location, easy to get to the local villages or even a day trip to edinburgh. We also had the joy of meeting some of the newly born lambs! Thank you Marjorie, we had such a nice stay!

We loved this place. Big, comfortable, period building, every appliance you could need, comprehensive instructions on how stuff works, 2 sets of keys (few Airbnbs provide this obvious benefit), proactive, friendly and helpful hosts, and a great location. We walked to the castle and Royal Mile, and to Arthur's Seat, and went running in the large, lovely, nearby park. Bought groceries at the nearby Sainbury's and Tesco, had coffee at several local cafes, and had drinks and dinner at nice local restaurants. An excellent Airbnb experience. We would stay here again.

Die Unterkunft von Jay war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt gute Restaurants in der Nähe, man erreicht das Zentrum zu Fuss und ganz in der Nähe befindet sich der Arthur’s Seat. Der Aufstieg ist sehr zu empfehlen, man wird mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf die Stadt und die Gegend belohnt! Jay war sehr zuvorkommend, hat immer sofort geantwortet. Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt.

Very handy location as a base for a few days walking the local hills. I didn't have the time to try out some of the amenities such as the sauna. The accommodation was spacious and well presented.

Yvonne is hands down the best host I’ve ever interacted with. So warm, helpful, and incredibly responsive. She offered us an early check-in just based on our train timings, without us even asking! The location is perfect: the world’s best restaurant (in my opinion), Hoi An, is just around the corner, and there’s a beautiful park filled with pink cherry blossoms just a 2-minute walk away. The flat itself is perfect for families. There were toys that kept my one year old entertained, and Yvonne had thoughtfully provided a high chair and a pack and play. The master bed is huge, the kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, and everything was spotless and cozy. Yvonne gave great recommendations and was always just a message away. Can’t recommend this place enough for anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Fantastic 3 nights at Anna’s. The apartment is perfectly situated, just a short 7 minute walk to the castle. Lots of good restaurants and a fantastic park for kids and our dog down the way. Anna was super accommodating and flexible to our needs with kids. Great stay, would highly recommend for families and those wanting a well-situated apartment within just a short walk from the buzz of Edinburgh!

It was great staying at Roy’s place for the weekend as we explored Edinburgh. The place is accurate and easy to find, along with being close to the city centre. Also, Roy was very helpful, especially when it came to finding alternative parking while we waited for the free period outside the apartment to become available. Would definitely stay again!

This apartment was cosy, conveniently located to the city and old town, had everything we required and was immaculate inside. We absolutely loved this apartment and highly recommend the location and the hosts to anyone visiting Edinburgh. My wife and I were really impressed.

we have just left Howford house after a lovely 3 night weekend stay to celebrate my husbands 40th. we were a family of 14 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby and we had the most peaceful comfortable stay. the house is fantastic, it has everything you need and the location although super private and peaceful, it was near restaurants, the coop supermarket, Traquair House and land which we got discounted because we were house guests, and lots of walks and hikes. the surrounding acres were stunning with the frost and autumn leaves. we all loved our stay, the kids (and the adults) didn't want to leave. special thanks to Elaine the housekeeper who was brilliant with her communication and help. we will recommend and be back in the future.

We had the most amazing time at this stunning location. We had a small intimate wedding in the garden and the sun was shining. The house offered the perfect setting and was everything we could have wanted. Nick was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had both before and during our stay could not have asked for a better host. Thank you

The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.

This house was exactly as advertised. Spacious and beautiful. Perfect for two families. Check in was easy and Jacki was very responsive.
