Huisjes in Seaton Sluice

A very peaceful and quiet retreat in a lovely part of the North East. It was so quiet and relaxing spending time in the hot tub and inside the cottage. Although this is no fault of Rachael's and/or the cottage please be wary that if you're over 6 foot you will be ducking a lot! I banged my head twice coming out of the bathroom when going during the night and still half asleep (again, this is nothing against the host or the location - just a pre-warning!)

Lovely quite place to stay? Friendly host and nice welcome pack on arrival. Comfortable couch and bed. Very spacious downstairs and wheelchair friendly. The vents can be a bit noisy when the wind gets up. Very little light pollution in some directions if you are into star gazing. The drive is spacious .

I absolutely loved our stay at Barnacre Alpacas, we stayed in the rose cottage, it was very clean and the hot tub was a bonus. We enjoyed the alpaca walk and talk, that was something I’ll never forget! On arrival the cottage was dressed up for a birthday surprise and champagne and chocolates was left for us. Thank you to Paul and Debbie, we will be back!

Great house right in the centre of Amble and easily walkable to the harbour and many pubs, restaurants and shops. Amble was a lovely place with lots to do including boat trips, and a great riverside walk to Warkworth. Very warm and well equipped house with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and stunning bathrooms. We enjoyed the hot tub outside. Tesco opposite was very handy, and we enjoyed an outstanding meal at Jasper’s bistro round the corner. Parking outside was easy overnight, and the local car park behind Tesco (with electric charging) was only £9 for 72 hours. Note that the car park adjacent to next door property was not long stay. Had a really enjoyable stay at this house and would highly recommend.

Angela’s place was fabulous, we have young children and Angela went above and beyond to make our stay great, would definitely recommend to others, Angela is a wonderful host! The cottage is also very well equipped and clean!

Absolutely fantastic!! The cottage was gorgeous.from when you first walk into the beautiful kitchen with its niche fixtures and fittings and the lovely sitting/living room the very homely two generous sized bedrooms and the amazing shower/bathroom. It really was beautiful. The outside decking area with loads of seating and the best bit a massive hot tub which Ellen checked every day to make sure it was all as it should.fantastic host! Ellen was always there if anything was needed even tho it wasn’t,everything was nice & easy!! The Northumberland coastline is a joy to walk over! And only 10 minutes walk from the cottage!pubs and restaurants are around 10 minutes drive but at least it’s along nice country roads. Gutted to of had to leave but would definitely love to visit again!!

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

Mark’s and Michelle’s home is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. Everything’s exactly what was in the description— all the amenities are well cared for and the attention to detail are well thought of. So you can also expect a luxurious and pleasant getaway for a reasonable price. Thank you again to you both for your warm hospitality! We’ve had perfect and relaxing weekend rest. We’ll for sure come back— a little longer stay next time.

We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and well presented. Location is great enough out of the way to relax but close enough to lots of different things to do to keep the kids busy. Well equipped with everything you could need to make the stay easy and comfortable.

An absolute gem of a cottage in a beautiful place. Loved the cottage so much - felt so homely and was a perfect place to venture off into the surrounding areas.

We had a lovely stay at the Quirky house in a great location. Diane was very attentive if we needed anything and for any questions we might have also lots of information of places to eat and visit in the area .

Exceptionally clean end of terrace cottage. Very well presented and comfortable. Lots of thought and care gone into this little cottage, it was lovely. The description did not mention the busy street location, but this was not an issue, inside was quiet as was the courtyard garden at the back.

Beautiful cottage 5 mins from beach. Very clean and tidy, milk in fridge on arrival for a much needed cuppa. Good communication from Nick. Would stay again.

Lovely stay at seashell cottage. Large property , Clean and tidy . Thank-you to Jen for putting up the Xmas tree and making the house look so festive . Also thank you for all the extra goodies that were left. They were unexpected but a lovely surprise. The house is situated within walking distance to the beach, the Marina and the town . Had a wonderful meal in the Harbour inn which is just down the road from the house. Plenty of unrestricted parking also on the street . Across from the house is a field which is a great bonus for the dogs. The field runs down to the dunes and onto the beach . All in all a good place to stay and ideally situated for exploring other areas in Northumberland.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in very many years. Carol was a delight and the cottage had everything one could want. I was impressed by the number of books available, it was a joy.

We needed a place to stay while our bathroom was being remodelled, and it needed to be close to home so we could check on the progress of the work. Violet Cottage fitted our needs perfectly. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked with essentials (the chocolate biscuits were a bonus) and was simply everything we’ve come to expect from an Airbnb Superhost. Grant was very responsive when we had questions and generally made sure our stay was entirely to our satisfaction. For out of town visitors, this place is close to the city centre, close to the river and close to a lot of facilities, both for basic needs and entertainment. We highly recommend Violet Cottage.

Lovely cosy quiet cottage with good garden space to sit out and for dogs to play . Fabulous location minutes from the beach . Spotlessly clean , comfy bed , good shower , and the tea, coffee , milk etc on arrival a thoughtful touch . Alison was a lovely host , friendly and helpful .

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful location. Great base for exploring nearby Hexham and Corbridge, and Roman ruins such as Vindolanda, Housesteads and Hadrian’s Wall. Very well equipped kitchen, much better than average, with all the kitchen utensils you need. Very friendly and welcoming host. Would highly recommend.

Our stay in this property was wonderful. It was fully equipped with everything you may hope for whilst enjoying a family stay away. Tahir made himself avaliable if we had any issue and communication with Deborah and Tahir was reliable and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the property was heated well. It was a perfect location and a place we hope to visit again sometime in the future.

Beautiful comfy cottage in a quiet and pretty location. Great as a base for exploring Hadrian's Wall, Vindolanda and Corbridge. We had a great stay.

Priory Cottage was beautifully presented, with everything we needed for our stay. It was lovely to have a welcome basket as well as tea, coffee, sugar, condiments and cleaning items which is not the case at every property we've stayed at. The place was warm and cozy with a great bathroom and comfortable bed. Mark and Emma were both very friendly and welcoming when we met them and recommended a lot of places to visit which was great as we hadn't been to the area before. We had a lovely week in Northumberland and will definitely be coming back.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy parking outside the house. The house is beautifully decorated, every thin you could need is supplied. Beds very comfortable and nice clean fresh bed linen and towels. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower. All in all a lovely home, close to beach and easy access to other places of interest. Would recommend staying there

what a lovely spot nice and peaceful. The welcome gifts were a nice surprise. The accommodation itself was very clean and well presented. All instructions were clear and easy to understand, as was all communication with the owner. This all led to us having a relaxing few days away. Thank you
