Where do we even begin? From the moment we arrived, it felt like staying with long-lost relatives who actually like you. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that screamed, ‘We’re overachievers, but in a good way.’ The hosts went above and beyond in ways that felt almost suspicious. We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

Daniel’s communication was excellent. The check in and check out proses was clearly explained and an easy process. The lake is beautiful. It was cold during our visit so we didn’t get to utilize the outside area, but I can see how amazing and fun it could be. The location is great with restaurants and grocery stores all within a few miles. And easy and close access to the express way. The place was clean and cozy. It was perfect for what we needed it for. LOVED it! Was there on a business trip in late winter, and wished it was for pleasure, and in a warmer month, so I could enjoy the lake it sits on, and get to relax while there. However, I was overwhelmed with prep for television and radio appearances and a live cooking show, so I only had the pleasure of using the AWESOME soaking tub to de-stress from super long hectic days, sleeping very well in oh-so-comfy bedding, and tossing together breakfast in a charming kitchen stocked with basics, as well as a well-stocked coffee bar. I thought the fresh creamer in the fridge was a nice touch, and I loved sitting at the kitchen table enjoying my coffee and the beautiful lake view. I hope to return some day -under less stressful circumstances- so I can get to enjoy all its outdoor amenities in warmer weather, too. I also want to mention that I felt very safe staying there alone (owners live next door) and the place is so cozy I felt like I was at home throughout my entire 3-day stay.

My goodness, the pictures dont do this place justice. I think we underpaid! The house was beautiful, the surroundings were amazing, 10/10 highly recommend. Joseph was timely in his responses, we had no issues with entry or accommodations. A word of advice to future guests, carpool or travel in the least amount of vehicles possible, the parking is scarce and we would not want to impede on such a beautiful neighborhood with a procession of cars. Thank you Joseph 100%!

My husband and I picked Patricia’s place because of the fun game room she had downstairs-and I’m sure glad we did! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time playing pool, air hockey, shuffle board, ping pong and PINBALL!!! There was also a nice quiet study room upstairs where the kids could still participate in their online classes without missing a beat. Every space was so beautifully decorated and spacious it really felt peaceful. We were visiting in the winter so the cozy propane fireplace was a hit as well. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

The cabin was exactly as described. There were only 3 of us in our group, and we had plenty of space to move around. The kitchen area had everything we needed. Our favorite place on the property was the hot tub, deck overlooking the lake and the fire pit-- and basically ALL of the outdoor amenities. We loved sitting around the fire watching the stars.

A short getaway for us and the cottage was the perfect setting! Everything was immaculate and had all the amenities of home! Town was near by for restaurants or any needs and right near the lake. Lots of exploring nearby or within an hour or two drive. We’d stay there again! Thanks, James!

Our second visit! The lake and cottage are so quite and chill, it checked all our boxes for a great weekend. It's close to Hastings for us to do a bike race this weekend. The deck has been updated and a rockstar experience. The cottage is clean with plenty of amenities. It's truly an at home experience and Jason is fab on messages. We added an extra night on this visit since our plans changed. Next time we need to stay for a few weeks, that's for sure! Till next time...
