This place was an amazing getaway for my girlfriend and I. The setting was awesome and really made us feel like we took a step back in time to a more simple way of living. The house was great and the decor inside and out was what made this place so intriguing. We stayed for 4 days and didn’t want to leave, this truly is a special place and a great atmosphere to unwind in. The owner was great and I would recommend staying here to anyone that appreciates history and the simple life of years past.

We had such a fun and unique experience. Perfect for our family! Lots to explore both inside, with the eclectic art, and outside across the sprawling and isolated grounds.

The land in the sky is a gem! We had everything we needed and space to spare. I would 11/10 come back to stay. Know that you will be on a dirt road to get here, just like Nathan describes. And that the park is about a 25 min drive just to get to the gates. It was so, so worth it though. We captured every sunrise and sunset just by staying here. Not to mention EPIC skies at night that are truly undisturbed by any surrounding light. We did leave early for one morning hike and it all worked out perfectly. The record player skips but it still played some of the albums and really brought the place to life!

If you work in high stress areas- this is your perfect decompression sacred space. Everything is meticulously provided. Book at least 5 days. Pick up groceries. Hosts welcome you and set up the home. It overlooks a deeply still gorge that gently pulls exec freeze function right out of the body. Deep breathing with complete relaxation in 24 hrs. We received delicious homemade bread with local jams and honey. Slept the best we have in a decade. Hot tub and hot showers. Walked the private 80+ acres seeing gorgeous sunsets and dark sky stars. Pull in during the day. The route is very well marked. Then decompress. We didn't want to leave. And we will definitely be back. They've created a soulful sacred space for others. We had a fantastic stay! It was great to relax by the pool and waterfall after a day out hiking and exploring Tucson. Patrick and Kiki were super friendly and recommended some of their favorite spots to hike. It was fun to visit the animals as well. Highly recommend!

We had the best time…!!!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay, the views are amazing and totally took advantage of the sounds of the morning, a rooster, many types of birds, and a little breeze, to have our coffee on the deck… The dirt road is well maintained for a dirt road, I can see where people say it’s challenging, but we conquered it taking time and not being in a hurry, I drove so I did it slow to be able to look around too, very beautiful town… We are looking forward to staying here again…!!! Fantastic place to stay with a large group, and a great location! Cheap lyfts to the gas lamp and airport. Right by Balboa Park and walkable to several wonderful restaurants. The apartments were very clean and had all amenities we'd need. The hosts were very organized. Highly recommended!

It was a very nice spot, great views of the mountains. Very private; private patio. Every room was squeaky clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Diane was very nice and easy to communicate with. I will gladly recommend it and probably will use it for myself and guests coming into the area to visit.

The house is so beautiful, peaceful, well decorated. And the neighborhood is amazing too. We had a fantastic time! We would love to come back!

WOW! The adobe was breathtaking! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this adorable cabin in the desert. We saw so much wildlife, hiked so many trails, and engaged in so many new experiences. (All within an hour drive). If you are an adventure seeker, nature lover, or just looking to get away from it all, we highly recommend this unique cabin. Thanks for a great stay, Pam! Samuel’s place was great for our weekend in Mesilla/Las Cruces. We have two dogs and prefer to travel with them, and his place was perfect! Not only a great yard, but also a large beautiful (and typically empty) park RIGHT next to the home. The house is all you need and temperature was always comfortable. Instructions were clear once we got there. The only note I would say is that the home is shorter because of its traditional style, so if you are on the taller side, I would move through the house carefully. Last thing we loved — there were very quiet and peaceful goats next door, and my dog treated it like TV. It was the most entertaining thing we could’ve done for the them. Thanks again! We will definitely stay here next time.

Wonderful haven of tranquility. So many details to take time to enjoy. Monk and Simone were very helpful and friendly, we felt right at home immediately. The whole neighborhood has a wonderful peaceful feel and everyone is so friendly! We also appreciated the easy access to many cool places to explore.

I recently stayed at Starlight Adobe, and it was absolutely wonderful! The views were breathtaking, and the décor was both stylish and cozy. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet. Can’t wait to return!

My whole family gathered for Thanksgiving here. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures! It was like an oasis and we found everything one needed to feel right at home. We highly recommend this stay.

If you’re looking for 5 star this isn’t it. However, if you want a great memorable unique cozy couples get away. It’s perfect for that. 😊

The house is exactly as it appears in photos and could easily accommodate a group larger than our family of four. We came specifically for a relaxing getaway and enjoyed exactly that. We used the kitchen and grill to make all of our meals for two full days and three nights and enjoyed the hot tub when it was cooler than we expected. We also enjoyed the games and puzzles in the downstairs closet and the workspace upstairs. Lots of space and lots of amenities and Nicole was a wonderful host!

Beautiful place! The house was so nicely decorated and was fully equipped with basics and all you may need.

We spent just a few days at Nicole’s place and wished we could have moved in - it was a great layout for two friends, with the most comfortable beds, simple and beautiful furnishings everywhere, a perfectly stocked kitchen, an awesome backyard, easy off-street parking, and even on some unseasonably hot April days the whole home stayed cool and comfy. Already trying to figure out when we can come back. I also loved Nicole’s recommendations - so many of my favorites plus some cool new local spots to explore (the nearby bakery - sooo good!).

Gloria’s desert hideaway provided the most peaceful and tranquil stay imaginable. It is located right next to the West Saguaro National Park with amazing views and tons of wildlife to enjoy. The home itself is super comfortable with beautifully appointed furnishings and a well stocked kitchen. The dark skies are perfect for stargazing.
