A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Great place to stay for easy access for the Hidden Glen event. Very comfortable and the hot tub was most welcome post race!

Our stay at Laura's house was incredible. She provided everything we needed and more. We had our 1yr and 3yr with us and she had a toy for them, provided a high chair and bath seat along with the cot we requested. The house was so clean and beautiful, everything was perfect! Loved being surrounded by farm land, you can see Wallace Monument from the back of the house. The back patio is fenced in so our boys could play safely. We loved the hot tub! What a bonus! Laura responded to every message immediately, she had a welcome basket of food and champagne for us, she was so helpful and accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Booked this last minute for my friends birthday and we are so glad we did!. Place was spotless and the host is so friendly she made us feel at home☺️ will definitely be back this is my second time here . Love it

Rachel’s Farm ‘The Cottage’ was exactly as advertised. Perfect for the wife and I to have a last minute romantic weekend away. Booking was so easy, the property was very homely and welcoming and we immediately felt the worries of the world disappearing as we relaxed into the hot-tub listening to the wildlife. Also after a day of exploring the area to be able to slip into that awesome rolltop bath. I’m one of the larger built gentleman, and to have a bath that I can lay in and fit was sublime. You almost had to charge me for the cost of that bath as I was tempted to bring it home with me. 👍and then to climb into that bed. I haven’t slept that well for months..! Honestly, if you are considering staying here, I would 100% recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Pine Tree Cottage is a beautiful, traditional stone built cottage that has been sympathetically updated with excellent outdoor facilities. Situated in a beautiful part of the Trossachs, next to Loch Venachar - perfect to enjoy the many things to do in the area. We loved it. All the furniture is high quality- loads of equipment in the kitchen with really nice touches, (sandwich toaster, griddle, etc) and well supplied with cutlery & cooking gear. The bed was great with a firm mattress & lovely linen. The shower was excellent and the bathroom had a lovely antique bath, but what really makes the cottage special is the covered outside decking and summer house- so cosy and perfect to enjoy the fabulous views even with a spot of Scottish drizzle. Emma is a great host, friendly and communicated clearly, checking in with helpful advice. Thank you Emma for a fabulous stay. We will definitely return. It was a really memorable holiday x

This is a lovely cottage, very comfortable and clean. There is a nice secure garden and we were able to walk our dog straight from the cottage, you can get to the river Earn for a wee paddle. It was a nice surprise to find a welcome basket of goodies, even for the dog. Also there were some logs provided for the fire which was welcome and often not included in self catering places with fires. It was perfect for our stay to visit relatives locally.

Absolutey beautiful little find in the most peaceful scenic place I've stayed in for a while .. views fantastic hosts fantastic.. accommodation was fantastic.. dogs fantastic...would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again ..thank you ☺️

We absolutely fell in love with the place. The cottage was warm, cosy, and had everything one needed. I travelled with my granny, daughter and my dog Bailey and we all settled down quickly, it was like being at home. But it wasn't only about the cottage and the lovely host; it was also about the location. The cottage is located just outside of Drymen, a lovely little village with very kind people. I do recommend it to anyone who's looking for a country getaway and who wants an unforgettable stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au lodge. Le logement était petit mais suffisamment grand pour notre famille de 2 adultes et 3 enfants. Nous avons tous adoré l'environnement immédiat du lodge et du château. C'était un paradis pour les enfants...ils se sont éclatés avec les tyroliennes, dans la cabane perchée, dans la salle de jeux et ont adoré rendre visite aux belles vaches de la propriété. Notre fils s'est même baigné dans la rivière longeant le château... Amy était très sympathique et disponible. Thank you Amy!

We have family in the village but needed a place to sleep. The cottage was ideal. Comfortable beds. A well equipped kitchen. Outside seating if you’re fortunate with the weather. It’s a short wander along to the co-op if you need bits and pieces. Aberfoyle is stunning. Gorgeous walks all around you as well as opportunities to go and see some red squirrels. A lovely place to stay for a few days.

That was my first time in Scotland, and it’s an ideal location to see everything. It takes 30 minutes by car from Glasgow and 50 minutes to Edinburgh. It is in a nice location, and there is a good restaurant nearby where you can eat for a reasonable price. The owners are just amazing, kindly, helpful, proactive people. I really enjoyed my trip and was happy to stay in this lovely place.

Ronnie's cottage was a beautiful and cosy respite for me and my husband, our twin 8 year old boys and dog. There were amazing views out every window and the sun room offered stunning views out to the beautiful garden and surrounding countryside. We found the interior design really well thought out and appreciated the selection of boardgames. Despite its private location, we could also walk to the local grocery store in 5 minutes and very short trip to town. We'd chosen Crieff for its vicinity to Crieff Hydro for our boys and a great jumping off point for day trips to Glencoe, Stirling, etc. Coming back to the cottage was always a welcome breath of fresh air and we loved the option of having a fire in the wood burning stove. Highly recommend Ronnie's cottage, especially for families!

Glenalbyn cottage in St. Fillans is just amazingly charming. The village and location itself absolutely stunning. Large kitchen table allows whole family to sit together, ethanol fireplace and lots of candles in living room create a cozy atmosphere. The parking lot is private and just next to kitchen door. If you are looking for country escape with family or discovering the Scottish Highlands this property is for you! Also Catrina is very helpful and responsive.

We stayed at TwoStones for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and as described. The location is perfect for day trips to both Loch Lomond and Argyll. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Parking at the cottage is a bit sporting because of the tight entrance directly to the highway.

Beccy is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huisje was klein, maar zeer compleet ingericht en schoon. De kippen en schapen zijn een leuke toevoeging, onze kinderen vonden dat ook erg leuk. De weg er naartoe is een uitdaging, maar langzaam rijden en je komt er wel :)

Amazing place for 4 of us to come back to in the evenings to relax while in the arena on a work trip. A beautiful change from hotels

We had a lovely few days at the cottage! We had everything we needed . The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen had all the equipment we needed . The log burner was fab especially with it being so cold outside! Garden was great for the dog as it was all enclosed . Would love to come back in better weather to get to sit out . Sarah was fantastic! Very responsive and helpful . We Will be back!
