Climb the many mountains in the area, some within walking distance of our front door or explore the local walks. Visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor or curl up infront of our woodburning stove with some hot cocoa and a good book.

The Stable is a ground floor semi detached studio cottage situated in a private 40 acre estate with panoramic views of the Lake of Menteith, private covered porch, gas barbecue, freesat TV, DVD player, docking station and White Company linen. We have a corporate membership of Forrest Hills Hotel and Spa (c12 minutes drive from the cottage) which allows our guests access to their swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Spa and billiards room at no cost apart from individual spa treatments).

The town centre, the bus station, the train station, Stirling University and the Wallace Monument are all within a 20 minute walking distance. The Meadows is a quiet, friendly street.
