MAN, where do I begin? This Airbnb was by far the best one my wife & I have ever booked. Very prompt. Very responsive. Very professional. Very cozy. Everything was perfect. The cabin is beautiful inside & out with a TON of amenities included by the hosts. Honestly, these hosts went so far out of their way to not only provide a place to stay, but an amazing experience in itself. It rained one of the two nights we stayed & was a bit chilly, but their wonderful heater indoors & private hot tub +fireplace outdoors makes it no problem (both were set to a heated setting upon checking in WOW!) We were able to do laundry after going on hikes nearby & using their hot tubs due to them providing in unit washer/dryer! (So convenient) The private location lets you disconnect from the fast pace world near Los Angeles (where we reside) while also having extremely fast WiFi. Will be booking in the near future, but staying longer! Thanks Shane & Laurie!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

We had a wonderful stay. The beaches were so beautiful and easy to access. Our cabin was nice and clean. There wasn’t much in town to eat, but the host did suggest places nearby. We definitely would come back

Such a cute, cozy little cabin! It was perfect for a quick getaway. It was so peaceful and quiet and just what I needed! It was very clean and I felt right at home. The views are amazing! The only thing I will say was a little bit of a bummer was keeping it warm. If I didn’t have the heater running 24/7 it would drop into the 50s rather quickly. And the down side to that the heater is very loud and it being next to the bedroom I couldn’t sleep with the heater on so it got a little chilly. This could be a me problem though 😊 overall it was great and I would absolutely stay there again!

Awesome place to stay if you need a relax

This place is a gem of a find. For a group of 7 and 2 small pets this place is a godsend. I suppose this place will be busy late Spring and all Summer but I’m glad I got the chance to stay here. Our itinerary involves staying a full day to visit the Redwood State Parks and I know there’s only select places to visit given such very limited stay, but it was forecasted to be rainy the exact day! It was a storm and a whole lotta wind and rain. Our group was headed to Oregon coast the following day (also rainy😅) so we decided to just explore the place in the morning and stay in. It was the best decision we made! The place, the community, the vibe had so much to offer. Writing this review I know I may have a slim chance booking this place again in the summer but I sure would love to be back and book the same exact cabin again! Thank you Carina!🙏🏻

We loved the location, we walked to the beach and watched sunsets many times during our stay. The cabin has everything we needed, and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location if you’re visiting the Redwoods. Close proximity to both Crescent City and Hiouchi. Visit the charming Hiouchi Cafe just down the road!

The Lone Mountain Resort was easy to find as well as “the Lodge” which was right in the middle of the park as described. The first night there I was eager to use the bbq. The grills were nicely kept as well as the outdoor area. The inside of the lodge was just like the pictures, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary gadgets as well as nice place settings and glassware that wasn’t an assortment of someone’s old dishes and glasses from the back of their cupboard. Overall the place was very comfortable and peaceful and I felt right at home.

The decor was nice and the space felt fresh and clean. The lighting was a little strong for me…I prefer something warmer and softer. Grateful for the stay

Super comfortable, beautiful space! Very comfortable king bed and spacious living and outdoor spaces considering it’s a small cabin. The outdoor sink and drinking water were easily accessible. Bathrooms were very clean and a short walk away. The pond was a peaceful, refreshing highlight!

We had a great visit here. The cabins are clean, homey and peaceful. Sharon was super nice and sent over a long list of all the wonderful things to do in the area. Definitely coming back.

The Emerald Outpost is a DREAM! It was cozy and restful in the rainy winter, I can't wait to visit again in summer. Thank you for sharing such a gorgeous getaway

Stayed here with my husband and 2 toddlers. The little cabin was cozy and exactly as advertised. Even more spacious than anticipated. Was able to fit 2 kid air beds with room to walk around. The location peaceful and the freshwater pond was definitely a highlight! Definitely enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back and recommend to anyone who might be going through O’Brien. Donnas place was nice and clean. It felt secluded in the forest just right outside of town. It was perfect for my wife and I. The only thing lacking was furniture out on the deck. We spent most times out there when we were at the house. The deck is great otherwise though!

Great place to crash at night after spending full days in the Redwoods. We had two adults and two small kids and the place fit us well.

Such an amazing space. The morning sunrise while sitting on the balcony, the amazingly comfortable bed, the water pressure… it was great to come back to after a long day of hiking

Thank you James for this simple cabin nestled in the beautiful forest. The porch and Adirondack chairs looking out into the woods were the highlight of the space. It might be tight for more than two. Freezer space just enough to handle your cooler ice packs. For a couple sharing a space with their own supplies it was a nice clean space.

I am looking forward to staying again. Though it wasn’t beach front it was nice and private. It is a beautiful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The private beach was beautiful too…
