A wonderful property with a spectacular sea view! Very comfortable accommodation on a well-kept, quiet site. We loved sitting out on the deck listening to the waves lapping the beach and the birds singing in the trees. We found some wonderful walking trails right from the site which gave us Nightingales and Turtle Doves - such awesome birds to hear. We cannot wait to return!

We loved everything about the Blue House and look forward to staying again in the future. It was perfect. Special thanks to Vicky and Eva for our welcome gift, very thoughtful of you.

Amazing location! Super friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay, it was a lovely place very clean and cosy with everything we needed we will come back.

Petra was such a friendly lady very swift to respond to any messages , easy to fine and warmly greeted when arrived . The annex was spotless and very comfy more than enough cooking facilities and all clean and well kept , perfect location directly opposite sea where our dog was in her element constantly playing and paddling in the sea , our 12 year old daughter loves it also and the visit to Clacton pier which is 5 minute drive away and plenty of free parking was lovely and all very clean and looked after . Would recommend this stay to anyone either couples small families and even welcome with dogs (even had dog crate so we didn’t have to bring our own ) . While there were left alone and sneered any messages swiftly when we asked for best places around. Wouldn’t hesitate to return again x Loved our stay and thank you for the little food tokens that were left for our stay ❤️

Great house, exactly as described and shown. Perfect for the whole family ranging from late teens to my nonagenerian in-laws. Location was good for the beach, Meare's Lake and Mini Golf with Aldeburgh a 5 minute drive or 40 minute walk. We would definitely visit again!

We had a really nice stay at this bungalow/chalet “The Dell”. The location was peaceful and quiet, which made for a very relaxing break. The property itself was lovely, with a particularly nice big bathtub. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we appreciated the few essentials left for us on arrival. The open-plan kitchen and lounge were spacious, making it easy to host a casual lunch with family. The outdoor space was also a great bonus, with a lawn and patio furniture to enjoy the sunshine. The children enjoyed the safe space. The property was easy to find thanks to the clear instructions provided. Overall, a good stay in a lovely, quiet setting! We’ll be booking again

We really enjoyed our weeklong stay and would happily return. The location was excellent, within easy distance of Colchester, other towns, farm shops as well as the countryside and local attractions. It is set within its own peaceful grounds, which is itself a nice walk. The cottage is well laid out, furnished and has all the right equipment. Great mattress, excellent shower. Helpful information was provided before the check in to plan packing. There was a very comprehensive booklet with lots of helpful local information and suggestions for walks. There was also a wide selection of books in the cottage which was a really nice touch.

Emma’s place is absolutely perfect for a short stay. The location is rural and beautiful, yet close to everything you could possibly need. The facilities are spot on for a ‘tiny house’ and I’d recommend it to anyone. If I wasn’t a mother of five, I’d happily live there! Extremely reasonably priced, especially as our stay was over Easter weekend. Thank you for the breakfast, very thoughtful. And yummy! Comfiest bed EVER!

Plenty of space, clean, comfortable bed. Nice quiet location on the edge of town with lovely walk along the edge of the river into town Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Flora's and the beautiful coast, villages and excellent cafes and restaurants in the area Our only minus would be that from the photos we thought we were getting a nice garden to sit in instead of a scruffy yard.

We had a lovely stay. Nice and spacious with everything we needed. Lots of seating when family came over. Alice was quick to respond when needed. The baby loved running up and down and seeing the chickens. Would love to come back in summer when the weathers better to explore more

We've stayed many times before as it's just an amazing combination of chic and spacious accommodation with a stunning setting in rural Suffolk. Cate always provides lovely finishing touches like the Christmas trees inside and out and a little food hamper. Loved the whole experience as always !

We had a perfect weekend stay for a family wedding at Bruisyard Country Estate. Great location and such a beautiful place, it has everything you need and more. Nicola is also extremely friendly and helpful, couldn't fault anything 😊
