This resort offers a small zoo with locals wildlife and a phenomenal hike on well maintained trails through several waterfalls, my favorite around the area.

La Paz Water Falls Gardens is such a great place to visit. With 7 huge water falls in the middle of the rain forest, many kinds of animals, humming birds and butterflies. It is only 15 min from Poas Volcano, so you can visit both places the same day.
