One of the best independent shop in Kirkwall (or anywhere!) in terms of range of products. Locally owned and still run by 4th & 5th generations of the Shearer family. Caters for (amongst many other things) all your grocery needs - including all the special ingredients you can't get anywhere else. Great service too!

A glory hole of health foods, local produce, kitchen ware, garden plants, pet food and toys, hardware, fishing (anglers) supplies. If you can't find it here, its probably not on Orkney! Near to Christmas the display upstairs is something else.
