Historic set of steps, not for the faint of heart. Very steep, leading from the Brazos River, up to the top of the ridge. Playground at the top, to help kids burn off any extra energy. :-)

Walk along the brazos, walk the trails of Cameron Park, or brave the hike up Jacob's ladder. Warning - this is not easy!

If you don't have time for all of Cameron Park, this is one of fave parts to visit. Good for a little workout or to view the sights from up top or down below.

Jacob's Ladder, in Cameron Park is a favorite with hikers and anybody who wants to sprint up the steep steps to the top.
