The Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail is a small but robust wine trail that starts in Victor, continues through downtown Canandaigua, and runs along the western side of Canandaigua Lake to Naples. It is a 30- mile experience of Finger Lakes wine and food tastings, and a great way to meet the people along the way who pour their heart and soul into making world-class wines and welcoming guests. The trail is one of the most diverse with stops at large and small wineries, two wine centers, and a brewery, plus a wonderful variety of shops, restaurants and breathtaking scenery along the way. While the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail makes a great day trip, a more leisurely approach is to stay in one of the quaint inns along the way and savor each and every stop. There is plenty more to do along the trail than just wine tasting including eating grape pie, a local specialty, stopping at a craft brewery for a tour, and tasting or participating in one of the wine and grape inspired events featured throughout the year. The Canandaigua Wine Trail passport offers exclusive wine tastings and discounts, and is really the best way to travel the trail.
