Great atmosphere, good food and live bands - this place really gives you the feel of the mountains - quaint, warm, good music. Our favourite local band is Green Rose.

Casual Bistro upstairs with a Bar downstairs - plays music on Friday nights. Great local beers on tap, Good menu in Brasserie - can create dishes to suit vegan or GF requirements.

It's located on top of Katoomba Street, in front of the Carrington Hotel. Nice pub food, not expensive, large portions, very busy. the Carrington Hotel has a wide veranda, excellent to site outside with a coffee or drink. The inside public areas are wonderful Victorian. It's lovely to sit near the fireplace. They also serve high tea on weekends and have a piano player.
