Nezu-jinja Shrine is said to have been established over 1,900 years ago by the legendary priest Yamato Takeru no Mikoto in Sendagi with Susanoo no Mikoto as the chief deity.

Dating back to the 1700's and known as one of the more decorated shrines in Tokyo, Nezu Shrine or 根津神社 Nezu-jinja is surely worth a visit. Home of the famous annula Azealea festival.
