This is an easy hiking trail during late spring to early fall. In the winter, it becomes popular spot for snow shoeing. There is an amazing view of Lake Tahoe in the trail! The entrance of the trail is also popular for snow sledding.

The meadows have beautiful flat hiking trails around 2-3 miles for an enjoyable afternoon hike. I also love to snowshoe here in the winter. Snowshoe to the top of the hill for stunning lake views! Sledding across the street for the kids as well.
