One of the best-reviewed restaurants in Southtown happens to also be one of its newest. Fresca opened with little fanfare in October 2016, and its been garnering nothing but 5-star ratings since. Housed in a sixty year-old building that has been everything from an ice house to a Thai restaurant, it's a bar, it's a restaurant, it's a karaoke and Spurs-watching venue and it's even got live and recorded music. But, what draws them all in is its decadent menu that can only be described as indulgent. With items such as chocolate bacon - yes, chocolate bacon - barbacoa wontons, chicken and waffles and open-faced egg sandwiches, it's definitely not for the calorie-counters amongst us.
