Great surfspot when the wind is south westerly. Make sure you grab some take away fish and chips and watch the waves roll in from the gorgeous grassy mound just near the car park.

Walk to the right for about ten mins from the Urquhart bluff car park and you’ll find the mermaids rock pools. A great place to spend the afternoon with kids.

For a stunning beach walk, walk west around Urquhart bluff at low tide. Keep walking to find the gorgeous secret mermaid pools at the end of the private cove. Make sure you have enough time in the low tide to walk back around the bluff on your way home. Truly stunning and one of our our favourite spots on the coast!
