This is fairly close to the Tiny and a great park for horseback riding. Some people hike or mountain bike here, but, in our opinion, it really is better suited for horses. There are some dude ranches nearby that you can get in touch with regarding trail rides.

his route is short on distance (2.3 miles, round-trip) but climbs nearly 400 feet.

Hill Country State Natural Area offers primitive camping, backpacking, nature-watching and multi-use trails for hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders. 46 minute drive.
