Less than a mile from the cabin. Even if not a skier/snowboarder, there is a bar/restaurant that frequently has live music. Recommend checking their website for events. They also have a great outdoor fireplace.

A small but very quaint ski resort; great for cross-country skiing as well. Love the renovated lodge and outdoor fireplace. Has a retro vibe

The steepest slope in Pa is Wild Cat, right on that mounain just 20 minutes away. And they have a great pub!
