Lately, you can't visit Buffalo without getting on the water. If you need to rent a Kayak, Elevator Alley is a great option. They're right down near the grain elevators, which is a favorite spot to get on the water and paddle around the remains of Buffalo's industrial past. You will likely see some wildlife - mostly various birds and deer. The water is not super clean - this is more of an industrial site-seeing paddle.
