A National Trust House, but it is a family home. Late Medieval, Tudor and Jacobean House which has been adapted by each owner. The interiors are rich with decorative plaster work, fine furniture and beautiful tapestries. Of particular note are the rare musical keyboard instruments. the spinet and virginal. The Westbury White Horse id near by.

National trust property that's not too busy but still interesting for a day out. Check opening hours as it isn't open every day.
