Hop on the passenger ferry from Tuvesvik to Kärringön all year around. Kärringön is a must-see west coast treasure. The traffic-free island with numerous small wooden houses clinging to the hillside is wonderful for experiencing seaside cuisine and sightseeing.

One of the most famous smaller islands in the surroundings is Kärringön, a picturesque small fishing community, accessible only by boat from Tuvesvik. Completely car-free and beautiful to walk around with small restaurants and cafés down by the harbour.

Beautiful little island that you reach via a ferry from Hällevikstrand. Eat at great Pettersons krog. (Fine dining) or other spots. Swim and enjoy atmosphere.
