If you are looking for a Local Dive Bar - you found it here. Make sure to go later in the evening and it usually has a cover due to the local bands that play there. Great, eclectic, local find.

this local watering hole, presumably named after the New Orleans establishment, is a nautical-themed bar that hosts local and regional rock acts on a nightly basis, along with the occasional drag show (stop by Sunday nights for karaoke, and get ready for a few show-stoppers)

"The Freaks Come Out at Night" would be a good theme song for this place, and I wouldn't have it any other way. If you're looking for a total departure from the generic Charlotte bar scene, go here.
