If you're into local food, I recommend you to try "Chao Suon", meaning pork rib porridge serve with pork floss (Ruoc) and Breadstick (Quay, pronounced as Kway , one of Hanoian favourite afternoon snack. I personally have at least 2 bowls each time I visit. This road side store is located at No1 Ngo Huyen Str, Hoan Kiem district.

This place is very famous for the rib porridge that attracts many visitors in the winter. The smell of porridge served with dough is an experience that any tourist should do.
