A 15 minute walk over farmland reserve will take you to this gorgeous secluded beach. Swim, picnic, fish or play and spend the day here. Walk on out to Busby Head for wonderful views or complete the 1 hour loop track through native reserve and regenerating bush past the historic gun emplacements of WW2. Check out the soldiers mural.

It will take a nice, calming 20 mins drive to Smuggler’s Bay. Another 10-15 mins walk from the car park, you will find an amazing Instagrammable beach. With its stunningly clear water and white sand, this is one not to be missed. This secluded beach is great for swimming, snorkelling and has some large pohutukawa for shade.

A truly epic secluded beach just a 10-15min walk over some farmland, take a picnic & spend the day or you can walk the longer track around the headland. Cristal clear waters begging to be swum in

A good walk and then swim at a secluded beach and picnic under the pohutukawas.

This is one of our favourite places. Park at the end of Urquharts bay and follow the signs walking over the crest on your left. It is well worth it, in summer make sure you take togs and a picnic. If you are feeling energetic, turn right at the start of the walk and walk around the head land. There are old army lookouts to explore. Keep following the path and you end up at Smugglers Cove. Kiwi magic at its best.
